This tabernacle holds a lot great history. I remember going to my grandmother's funeral there. I pray for the day that it can be restored and used in the community in the near future.

I was looking for these old videos, I was brought up in the Southern Central District. Keep showing them and thank you so much. Do you have some from the conventions as well, with the late Elder Wilson? Elder Sydney Harris could really hit those high notes and could really preach.

Hello. Unfortunately, I don't have a storehouse of those memories. I wish I did! I just had two VHS recordings that I got a relative to order/purchase once they were ready for sale. If someone could contact the guy/business the Convocation hired to record those services back then, there would be a treasure trove of memories in his possession! I wish I had purchased more.

The Sister leading this song is a powerhouse singer, and she is locked in with the bass and drums. This one, is by far, my favorite Music and Arts Seminar songs. A classic.

@@ChurchBoi17 I agree. Nothing like Gulley Street! I was always awed by God presence when the saints gathered together in that place. (I have a few songs that John Kee did with the choir, when he was guest Min. Of Music at the 1988 Music Workshop Convention that are on my list, when I get the time to convert & post). Hopefully, it'll be soon.

Yes it is great to see and hear him ministering so powerfully, as he always did. I got saved when he was minister of the week at annual revival at my church, Gospel Light, Mt. Olive, back in the 80's. So, I will always be connected to him in the spirit.
