Yes, it was. A lot of stuff happened that year. Superman at the movies, Wonder Woman on TV, Batman in syndication, Super Friends and New Adventures of Batman on Saturday Mornings, and er... whatever Legends of the Superheroes was supposed to be. Although technically I think that was 79.

I actually got to meet Gil Gerard back in 2019 at a RetroCon. I showed him this song on my iPhone, and played a clip of this episode, and got my pic taken with him! Very down to Earth! He was best known as Buck Rogers, but nobody was familiar with his role as Jake Rizzo.
