Shouldn't the pot be deglazed before you put in the trivet? You didn't get a burn warning?
@thatgoodcrunch97733 жыл бұрын
No, I never got a burn warning. I didn’t have the beef roast Searing for very long. The vegetables were a little softer then normal. But still were really good.
@TerraFirmaX3 жыл бұрын
Deglazing would be done after browning. He added liquid which is essentially deglazing but scraping up the bits would have been better. I would have deglazed just to get the flavor bits, but the way he did it had no ill effects on the product. Plus this machine is meant to sear and sauté

Well I got a new Instant Pot and your recipe will be used to test my pot for the first time. I’ve watched many videos and yours seems so easy and looked delicious so here I go. 👩🏼🍳😊
@thatgoodcrunch97734 жыл бұрын
Awesome! Let me know how it turns out. Some people say, the veggies will be mush. Because they were in there the whole time. But I think they turned out just fine, besides it’s all in personal taste. Hope you enjoy!
@wifigrannyl.13544 жыл бұрын
Davris Life Ok, I will do that. I should have prepped everything earlier than I did. It's in the pot now but we will be eating dinner later than usual. I got several compliments on how good it smelled just while I was sautéing. They will really appreciate it when it's finally done. 😋 I'm letting them work up an appetite. 😉 I will start earlier next time though. Only 15 minutes left to go! As far as the vegetables being on the softer side, that's the way we like them. Plus it's easier for my elderly family members to chew. My daughter likes her vegetables half raw but we sure didn't grow up that way. I'm sure it will be perfect for everyone but her and she can grab some raw carrot sticks if she'd prefer. She usually just eats what I cook and quit complaining since I told her years ago that she could fix a sandwich if she'd like. After hearing that a few times she keeps quiet. 😂 As the only cook in the family I don't feel she has any right to complain.

Lol yes she will! Can’t wait to hear how you liked it!

@@thatgoodcrunch9773 📣 The winner is: Darvis’ Instant Pot Roast Beef! 🏆🥇It was a BIG HIT with EVERYONE in the family! The wine is a nice touch but it isn’t overpowering. I used some of of the broth to make a mushroom, onion & garlic gravy. My brother ate with us tonight & he loves mushrooms so I wanted to make something special for him. So, everyone had a choice of toppings this time. I didn’t taste it with the mushroom gravy but he said it went well with your Roast dinner. Maybe I will taste it tomorrow. Thank you for sharing your recipe. I will definitely make it again!

This is what I call the mother of all instructional vids. Your voice is loud and clear and you speak slow. I can hear, understand and put your instructions to a great use . Peaple with difficault accents who whisper I have no patience for. I turn them off. Thank you sir you are the very best ..........

The recipe looks a little wet..I think I would only use 2 cups of liquid and wait to add the vegetables towards the second half!
@MrOgger1513 жыл бұрын
Also cooking veggies in a pressure for an hour also seems like they would be gravy when it was done. 5 minutes for potatoes and onions or they are liquefied.

This video was so useful... can I ask how often you water your geraniums? Thank you ☺️
@thatgoodcrunch97734 жыл бұрын
Charlene Ford If there already established geraniums, I would water them when the top inch of the soil is dry. They don’t really require a lot of water. If their newly planted geraniums keep the soil moist until they’re established. I hope this helps, and I am glad you liked my video. My channel has been a growing process, but I hope to be posting more often with gardening, hauls, food videos. Just things that make me happy lol

@@thatgoodcrunch9773 Thank you for your reply. I planted my geraniums about a month ago now (they were potted with a single stem when purchased) but they are rapidly dying, I water them every 3 days and they are planted in a flower box on the ground. I have mixed the geraniums with another flower and I am wondering if this is affecting them...thank you Davris...good luck with your channel...I would love to support you🌸
