No stage. I don't remember it being used in Wolfenstein 3D, but the music exists in the game's files. I read that this music was used on Spear of Destiny's piracy screen.

Your versions of Nazi Rap and Pounding headache are trully amazing The second one in particular gives a very ominous feeling and that you are getting close to confrontation with a big baddy.

Heya, project leader here. Really enjoyed these remasters. The instrument choices are really solid, and I like your guitar samples. Your renditions of Bloo and Myrgharok's stuff are especially nice. I do have some nitpicks, if you're interested in hearing them; the strings in Cookie Fangs are very quiet, and Arrival of the Demons has a plucked guitar instrument that I don't remember putting in there. Nonetheless the majority of these are superior to the SC-88 recordings I ordered for the pack, and those were really good in themselves. Could you upload the audio files for this somewhere? I might like to share some of these; if I do, you will be credited as the license requires.

Hi, thank you for your kind words. I can remaster all the tracks, and find a way to send them to you. You guys did a great job with this. I'm not sure I hear the plucking sound to which you refer. I added another horn section to 'Arrival of the Demons' so I could make the horns stereo, but I left everything else untouched. You're completely right about the inaudible strings in 'Cookie Fangs'. Next time I will make sure to turn them up.

The plucking sound seems to accompany each instance of the Sea Shore sound, and plays the same MIDI note I set for it, so I wonder if it's something with the sound you picked for that. The Sea Shore sound should just be background ambience with no audible pitch.

@@brainstewX Wasn't expecting this so quickly, but I understand you're pretty enthusiastic about this! Comments, including positives: INTRO: don't know why but this seems to make a perfect pairing with your guitar sound. Nice work! E1M10: I'm not a fan of the sound balancing on this one, but I also don't know what I'd change... E1M3: One of the synths is kinda clicky, or maybe just doesn't repeat smoothly. E2M8: This usually isn't one of my favorites in the pack, but it goes pretty well with these sounds! E3M6: Didn't mention this earlier, but the strings are a tad quiet here too; not completely inaudible, but quieter than they feel they should be. E4M1: Also like how this one turned out, the bell and string sounds are great. I've released this track separately as public domain, would you be fine with me releasing your remaster as public domain too? Rest of them range from decent to really good, but I don't have as much to say about them. I'm considering a few uses of these remasters - might upload them somewhere alongside the few remasters the artists themselves have done, in a pack of alternate versions; might include these in a soundfont comparison video; might upload a few of the ones I like most individually somewhere like OpenGameArt.

We were copying this game in school on floppy discs ("A") or better said "zipping" them in the late 90s... I think that the whole game of Wolfenstein 3d + Spear of Destiny required 3 floppy discs if zipped and at least 5 discs for the whole game

True :) the original Wolfenstein 3D-cover was also a big blooper as it is. The hero looks NOTHING like B.J., the enemy Nazis wear American uniforms and carry M-16 guns. Lol. Spear of Destiny was real, and Hitler was obsessed wit' it. Though it was stashed away in a special bunker, not in Castle Nuremberg.
