What made the Amigas so wonderful even by todays standards is the paste brushes..

DP3 on the amiga was ~340k in size. It left enough ram on a 512K Amiga 1000 topaint with 320x200 32 colors. To really use 640x400x16 you needed a memory upgrade. I had a 1 meg daughterboard upgrade.. The Amiga 1000 had only 512K of chip, chip determined how much sound or graphics could be active.. The average Amiga 1000 had 512K chip.. The Amiga 3000s had 2 megs of fast ram and a meg of chip.. An Amiga3000 coukd have a maximum of 18 megs I believe, 2 megs chip and 26 megs of fast. The Amiga 1000 couldhave half that of chip and fast.
