Yes, the devil distorts the Word, through "translations", then he has his "orators" trained in his "high places", bring forth his doctrine, as if it were true. It is corrupt! I moved to Franklin in January, and this has been my home church since. I didn’t want to attend a mega church, but I really felt like Jesus placed me and my family here. That said, this message while based in scripture, fell short in so many ways. Jesus is Lord and Jesus isn’t a republican or democrat. However, it’s the pastor’s job to preach the word of God and guide his flock. This message was typical of a mega church that doesn’t want to ruffle any feathers and skirt around the policies and issues on the table during this election. Neither candidate is great, but your not voting for a person, you are voting for policies that will impact our nation. One side supports and even celebrates the murder of babies and the mutilation of children, and one side does not. If a pastor can’t say that to his congregation, then the devil has already won. Please pray with me that Pastor Darren becomes bold in the word of God and delivers a great spirit filled message next Sunday! 🙏🏻
