Problem is that JB still does not have a good public transport so thousands of people will get off at Bukit Chagar and then wait for 3 hours for Grab while the traffic jam will just choke everything. Meanwhile, once you get Woodlands North station, the MRT system will absorb any hundreds of thousand of passengers without a hitch. Without a robust public transport on the JB side, we are just kicking the nightmare can from the causeway and JB sentral to Bukit Chagar. Good luck to us all.

2020 Covid-19 was indeed a once in a lifetime experience. It gave me time to reflect on life. Very thankful how the 4G leaders handled the situation. We were much better off than neighbouring countries. Thanks to our pioneer leaders' foresight in managing our National Reserves the govt was able to give financial help to Singaporeans. It was also a time I saw how the young stepped up to help those in need. It was a time of kindess & care. It gave me confidence that Singapore will be in good hands. Personally, I felt blessed it did not turn my life topsy turvy as it did to some people I knew. By some luck, I was able to avoid the panic buying. Most memorable was the quiet hari raya. As my mum lived with us, it was always super busy for me on the first day of hari raya. For the first time I had "chill" hari raya. 😅

Singapore was one of the few countries hit hard by the SARS in 2003. The experience from handing SARS has allowed Singapore to be better prepared in handling any future pandemics. The 4G leaders handled the Covid-19 pandemics well, most of the decisions made were good and sound decisions. This has allow Singapore to be one of the first countries to be able to open up and lives getting back to normal.
