⚜ Greetings, from Castle Saint James~ This effort, to somehow, reset the name for an old-time tradition, confounds me. I get it, that some, would rather not show reverence for the idea of being thankful on Thanksgiving, however, the origin of the holiday and the very idea for its conception, centers around the celebration of being thankful for a bountiful harvest. If you can't or won't engage in the very spirit of the holiday, perhaps, you shouldn't be a participant. This would be the wiser and more respectful approach, as it doesn't dilute the truth of the day. If you wish to establish another holiday, celebrating "friends," why, well, I'm all in on that idea, and would support your lobbying effort, wholeheartedly, but quite frankly, I don't approve, nor do I endorse, this notion, to abrogate the truthful name for one very special tradition. Carry on. Good day. ~James🛡

Is more expensive when you get sick from eating cheap junk, and getting a doctor's bill.

Thanks for the video. I have found some recipes that I keep on rotation. I have nuts and fruits available in case I need a snack. I do try to meal prep Sunday or Monday. This is my second time doing Whole30 and I will say it is much easier this time, and I was more prepared both physically and mentally.

I love soul food and comfort food and junk food but I love my health more. It was hard and expensive but I dropped 30 pounds and got rid of my everyday pain and brain fog. It's not for everyone but everyone that I know that has done it recommends it. Myself included

I tried it a few years ago and by the end I felt so weird that I had a difficult time driving an focusing. It is hard to describe how different I felt. I did not realize it was this diet until I started eating normally and started feeling normal again. Total failure for me. We are all different and respond differently so it may be great for others.

I've done whole 30 many times. It is not expensive unless you try to replicate your usual fillers. Veggies and fruit, meats. Fruits are seasonal, we shouldn't eat them during the whole year. I usually feel overly energized. Eat more protein! Don't eat sugar. It's simple. Don't go places hungry. Tiger blood? You're symptoms were withdrawals. Kill off of gut flora make you feel like you have the flu. Rest...

Sounds like you discovered the autoimmune during w30. That makes the w30 a success because now you can deal with the other. I enjoy your presentations, thank you.

🤠 even though this is from a couple years ago, it still is perfectly well put together and timeless and the colors are just out of sight. Yes I love it and I enjoy seeing it. Love autumn and it's my favorite time of year. Also cooler weather and a few stuff to do around in the fall. Like going on the farms and riding the tractors to go up to the pumpkin patch and pick your own pumpkins and plus you have a few pumpkin spice snacks out there too and you cannot forget about the little kids and their trick or treating or even sitting down with the family and having a nice decent Thanksgiving meal. The main reason why I love autumn is cooler weather and better fishing. I'm the one that cannot take the hot weather too much. Also high School football games too.

I found we weren’t ordering in as much or eating out as much so for me it was cheaper. Plus I like planning my meals at the beginning of the week so you can overlap certain ingredients.

I don't know what was so expensive. Protein, fruit, veggies, fat? I have continued on whole 30 and made it a lifestyle change. I still only eat proteins, fruit, veggies, and fats. I love being able to have potatoes and sweet potatoes. When I feel like it, I sometimes have rice or pastas made from chickpeas. I also can tolerate legumes. But no dairy, no bread, no white flour, no sugar, no alcohol. Done this for a year and have lost 140 lbs eating whole foods.

Thinking of trying a variation of this but there is a few things I don’t agree with and a few things that they ask manly I think if you make a mistake instead of going back to day one pick your self up and keep swimming. I also eat dinner with my family who will not be eating whole 30 so dinner would just be as close to whole 30 as possible. But at this point for me its more about a better relationship with food

You didn't explain why your grocery bill was more expensive. Should be cheaper since we aren't buying ice cream, cakes, cookies, chips, junk food, etc. And why is bacon more expensive. Can someone explain lol!
