Happy Birthday! At 49 you’re still a baby. I’ll be 65 my next one. And I can’t think of anything better to do than go fishing. It’s late December right now and I’m still fishing. Keep up the tradition young man and teach a kid to fish as well.

I'm further downstream from you and it always amazes how effective you are with the ned rig. I always end up using stuff like a squarebill, buzzbait, chatterbait, fluke, etc. Thanks for the inspiration and keep em comin!

Can you imagine there are people that live an entire life and not make one cast or catch one fish?? Crazy to think about and what many don't realize it's much more than that with the whole experience with all the things you see. I'm on Ky Lake and yes it's coming back but keep it on the down low lol . I fish on average 170 ish days a year and the better the lake gets the more pressure it gets . I reckon word gets out . Our Sauger has really came on good last 3 years and each one better than previous. Now gotta really be quite bout that lol except for those lucky enough to come across your video and they can read . I wanted to ask you is there Sauger in that stretch of river you fished?? Thx in advance have good safe winter fishing.

I'm hoping to get out on the river in the next few days. This time of year, I'm always torn between the river and going out to Priest. Looks like the fall fishing on the river is starting to get going. I typically fish from Neely's Bend up towards the OH Dam. But, might put some extra gas in the boat and head downtown next time. I used to fish down there all the time time when I used to put in at Shelby or Lock 2.

Yesterday I launched in Stones at the mouth of the Cumberland and had a great day fishing! Was hoping to see you on the water! I'm likely the only lady you will see out there in a Hobie so please come say hello! Most were small but we all caught fish and enjoyed a beautiful day. Trash is such a problem on our waterways. There are several organizations that organize clean ups. Every time I launch I return with the back of my kayak full of trash. When we each do a little we can make a huge difference.

Every bit of trash picked up helps. I used to canoe a lot on the Harpeth and we'd come back with a trash bag full of litter on every trip. If we skipped a weekend, we'd definitely notice the difference. I also try to pick up bottles and stuff when I'm walking / hiking. Everything on the bank ends up in the river when it rains.

What was point of putting fish in live well , only to release it , unnecessary stress on the fish.
@Stiksfishingchannel
@Stiksfishingchannel Ай бұрын
actually, putting a stressed fish in the live well will help the fish to recover faster with chemicals added in live well, and add a new slime coat for them
