After watching this, I’m starting to feel that Gary might have lied about the whole drugs thing. This was near the end of his disastrous first attempt at a solo career and I’m wondering whether he buckled under the pressure of being referred to as the “boring one” and Robbie Williams as the “fun and controversial” one, so felt he needed to put a story out there to make himself look “cool”. Listen carefully to his choice of words when probed. He doesn’t use direct language. Instead he uses language that distances himself from the untruth. For example by talking about how he was always seen as a good guy rather than saying yes, I took drugs. Just my opinion 🙏🏽 The Parkinson interview is the real him.

Wilbur, knowing Christian chose and fought for him out of sheer love (and not because "gee, I'm stuck with him" like the Sutherlands), will most likely be grateful towards and love Christian back to his dying day...

What's interesting with his relationship with Wilbur is that just like how he was adopted, so was Wilbur. But he didn't want to be the way his step father was to him to Wilbur. Christian could never fathom such things. It was a great way to show Christian's more loving side than the usual bachelor side of him. I think this side of him is really what solidified his character because he wasnt really able to find love with a woman, but he loved Wilbur to death. Fought for him and did anything he could to treat him well. Even though he wasn't his child biologically. He loved him anyway. Amazing show. Literally one of the best shows.
