30 Decembers is about LL returning to NY AFTER 30 years, traveling on buses and trains, going to different hoods and seeing how things changed. If you’re up on his IG, during the pandemic, he was all over NY, posting in different boroughs.

This is totally on point. My love will always be with 80s and 90s music (particularly R&B) along with some of the music of my high school years (2001-2005). However, things have changed and it just is what it is. 🤷🏾♂️ It’s hard though for me.

To answer your question, I don’t think so. Too many things are just different these days including all that you mentioned (money, technology, lack of creativity, etc.). Even though I’m glad that people can produce without the industry, I do think the value of producing has decreased because the tools are pretty much available to everyone. In conjunction with technology, I think TikTok has also ruined the craft of production because it’s just about making something quick vs taking time as they did back in the day to create something.

If they’ve historically included country music with an rnb vibe then it would be be questionable. But if they’re strictly classic country then I do think anything untoward is happening.

@chocolatesugar4434 think she forced something in the wrong way
@chocolatesugar443424 күн бұрын
@@musictipsreviewswithjg I don’t think she forced anything really, she just made music that she loved and was influenced by because of where she was born and raised. Her album definitely had a huge ‘country’ vibe and flavour but ultimately it wasn’t classic country album. She actually personally calls it a ‘Beyoncé album’ as it spoke to her early influences from country music being a person from Texas. Beyonce doesn’t force a thing she seems to do whatever she likes/loves and is inspired.
@musictipsreviewswithjg24 күн бұрын
@chocolatesugar4434 that's very true ...but I feel if she wanted to break down barriers she should've just did classic country.

Idk everybody refers to Jorja as the beyonce vocal wise and with her attitude, agility, runs, riffs, adlibs, all around powerhouse and Stella as well in a some sort of similar sense including her being the lightest complexion in the group but I say let them be their own artist. Those typa thoughts ruin Black Girl groups and we need this one to continue to flourish as they are now without side egos! Love your reactions!
