No, they don't hate each other, they're just different people. Magne and Morten are extroverted and funny, Paul is introverted and serious. They are friends, of course, but it's like a marriage - sometimes it can be exhausting and nerve-wrecking. And yes, a-ha was always more than "Take On Me". Their most underrated album is "Analogue". Great songwriting, very melancholic.

Don't know what the mother meant by (I could be wrong); "...you did something stupid at the children's home and as parents we are [or] should be worried..." I'm not sure if he did anything unless he said he wants to live in the city/abroad in the west or he did anything naughty such as being rude or irresponsible. She could be overreacting.

A bold and humanitarian subject, depicting the helplessness of women in Afganistan. It also seems to send a message of hope. Will wait to watch the whole movie. If possible.

I swear this is a re-upload cos I watched it before. It feels contradictory and ironic at times. Though the unfortunate happened the parents want him to continue the traditions. Cultures do change though so they are almost tribal by their way of life.
@PhilipJSmithNov19902 ай бұрын
It feels cringeworthy for his mum is particular to carry on traditions when it didn't help him and his 4 sisters. I'm sure they were given the opportunity to immigrate as well but decided to remain in Nepal.

Miserable gits, they should listen to the woman who says it's sinful that they don't enjoy it. You'd think they were being set to work in a coal mine or fight in a war ... not waltz around the world wearing leather jackets that cost more than a car and perform to adulting fans

The power of shared psychosis needs to be studied more closely. It's possible it could be more generally deployed to help populations of people who are open to certain influences.

Today - 5 September 2024. 41 000 Palestinian have been killed and another 100 000 injured. 80 000 still missing under the rubble. This is the answer for the last question.

I saw this documentary at FinnFest 2024 in Duluth, MN last month - twice. I was told by aa Finnish attendee with Sami heritage that our Finnish family name was an old name with a Sami derivision. This documentary had an even more intense impact after I’d learned this. I can’t wait for the full English-subtitled version to be released for distribution so I can share it with other members of the “clan”

I believe it's called "the Black Flag" and I've been looking for it after watching a video called "We Just Watched A Documentary About The Kafr Qasim Massacre..." where two Israelis gave an emotional review after seeing it and discussed its relevance in their lives. Both young men should be firmly congratulated for their humanity. I believe it was released quite recently so that might be the problem in finding it online.

Assisted suicide should be a personal choice. If nothing helps anymore and your life is just a pointless suffering everybody shoul be receive this act of humanity. Ecactly like any other care is given. Theren't should be refused persons, because only us can say for ourself when we cannot take it anymore. When a person feels for a long time his life is becoming more and more unbeareable despite his/her constant battle and after tryed anything, well this person DESERVE to have this choice, without add other useless and cruel psycological pain because of people and institutions ignorance and hinumanity. Unfortunately there are very strict parameters to achieve this human rights... as there were person who don't deserve help, while others deserve it. Idoneous and non idoneus, only for the judgement of others and stupid laws. The result? Abandoned these people will lead them to finally kill themselves in painful ways and completely desperate, scared of unpredictable pain because they are not doctors, uncertain of the success, and, most of all, in guilt, shame and loneliness. This in my opinion is absolutely inhumain. There are all the resource now to give a stress free end of life, but still it is refused because there are too much interest involved.

A well told story of the impact of this conflict on girls and women. The difficulties and trauma, seeking justice on historical cases of rape and abuse by both sides is like hitting a brick wall. Courageous and determined..thank you to Devi and producer for bringing this to the public attention globally. So many tourists don't realise the dark side of Nepal
