Technically it is D6. The cube is the shape, but this particular cube is called D6 because it is a 6 sided dice. <3 I get where you are coming from for those that just want the shapes and not dice though. But I have it set up as a pattern for an actual dice.

If you want to actually see the part of this video that shows how to miter the corner of the quilt, sew your borders on all 4 sides, ending the stitching at exactly 1/4 inch from the end, and back stitch. Then, skip to the 19-minute mark and watch the video to around the 24 minute mark. Jus sayin......

You could also click the more under the description and just skip ahead to the part you want in the contents! The times are clickable and you only ever need to watch the part of my videos that you want to watch.

Simple and effective pattern; thank you! Two comments before turning fabric right side out: 1. Why didn't you fold and press the entire perimeter along the seam? 2. Why didn't you clip along the under arm curve to make easing the curve smooth when pressing?
@Quiltoni
@Quiltoni 2 ай бұрын
You absolutely could do those two things! I try to be as simple as possible in my videos for those like me with adhd. We tend to try to just speed ahead and skip pressing when we are able to.

Thank you! I have one more question if you don't mind! I've already finished my dice tray but the inside fabrics separate a little. Is that an issue with the interfacing not being on property?
@Quiltoni
@Quiltoni 6 ай бұрын
@@rhih1608 Nope! The interfacing should only be attached to one of the fabrics. If it is separating, it just means you didn’t make it super tight with ironing before adding in the snaps. It shouldn’t have any problems though, just annoy you personally. ;). If you think that it affects the dice rolls, make a padded insert!

I just started patchwork and quilting, kinda wanted to make a bedspread but I want my pretty things to be functional so maybe making a weighted blanket would be the way to go, I could even make a summer version since I get my worst insomnia in heatwaves and my house is poorly insulated 🤔
@Quiltoni
@Quiltoni 7 ай бұрын
Do what makes you happy! The weighted blanket is a little cumbersome as it gets larger, especially if you want a larger blanket. For a summer version, make sure you are only using breathable and lighter fabrics. You don't want it to add to your heat.

If none of those work, then there is something going on in the machine and it needs to be taken in to be serviced. There may be a burr on a piece of metal, or a clump of fuzz clogging someplace.
