Like you I prefer drop in linings. Such a nice little bag. Will make some for Xmas. Thanks for doing this sew along. 👏

I like that sometimes you use one row of stitching, and at other times two. It makes it look very unique. 🙂

I love that vinyl. I cannot seem to find a good supplier of pretty vinyl in the UK. There are suppliers, but it’s all basic boring stuff. I used to order from the US, but postage & UK tax is now prohibitive.

Thank you. Nice tutorial. 🙂

My OCD needs to put the second row of stitching along the bottom to match the other seams, even though you're not butterflying the seam allowance open. 😀

As a visual learner I really appreciate the side-by-side comparisons. My 40 y/o New Home/Janome 2018e is starting to be more temperamental so I'm looking for better thread for my vinyl projects. Thank you for the in depth explanations of both Tex & thread weight.

Once again, you are a life-saver! One question: Do we sew the entire lining of the cowl to the neckline, past the center section that we finish with the neck binding? In other words, do we sew the cowl from one end to the other, attaching one end to the front bottom panel extension and the front bottom panel facing and then the other end to the front top panel and its corresponding facing? Or just the center portion with the binding? I have a photo but I don't think I can attach it here. Thank you!

Definitely liked the fold over binding. The bag is so good. May make some later in the year as presents. Hopefully I can find some special vinyl here in the UK. Looking forward to your next project. 👏👏🙂

Great video, you've been missed. Does it feel like real suede or look like suede but feel like vinyl? One reason I can't eat peaches but can eat nectarines. I can't stand the feel of suede or peaches. LOL
