I wonder if it's the ZR1 Corvette those were built in 1988 to 1990 they had the second key and a guy from Lawrence County where I live had one and him and Sam Connor wrecked on hwy36 I believe in the speake community and was running no telling how fast and ran off into a open pasture with 1 big oak tree and they hit it disintegrating the car around them killing them instantly it was horrendous no fire just sure impact and that car was picked up in pieces mostly by hand after that but it was bad ass

The F50 Must have been a really fun thing to drive! the sound is insane!!!! but let's make something clear... there is nothing to be proud about that engine from that insanely bad Ferrari F1 from the 80's/90's.... that F1 Ferrari of the 80's and 90's was the definition of Ferrari being overrated and loved just because of their name! it was an absolute shitbox! it had the old transaxle layout of the 70's F1 Ferraris, it was slow, off balance, and not reliable, and it never came close to winning a championship! when Alain Prost was sacked because complaining about Ferrari's F1 being trash... i know Alain made a lot of excuses and complained... but this time HE WAS RIGHT!! it was rubbish! ONLY ALAIN HIMSELF WAS GOOD ENOUGH TO DRIVE THAT AND BE A LITTLE FAST! Even though that with corruption got a greater salary than all other teams because they're Ferrari!!.... well guess what! Ferrari is rubbish!!!! Only Michael Schumacher was able to get them out of their rubbish... you know that old saying "it's about the driver"... But in spite of this... Man i love your content keep it up!

Thanks for making this. I was really sad when Reeves passed away. I remember seeing a Callaway at the Chevy dealership very well engineered. The only thing that I would ask that doesn’t make sense is that I’ve always heard and read at the time that the sledgehammer had the DN 4+3 wich was available at the time the ZF would be later before it was sold However since you mentioned that they respond quickly please confirm this😅

One of the modern racecars to never race has to be the Lamborghini Essenza SCV12, the car's track only, yet it never participated in any Lamborghini race events or championships. It should've been the one to enter WEC

Reeves Callaway was disqualified from the FV National Championship in 1973, after failing post race inspection. ( No turbos were involved). The car flipping in the front of the pack at the start was Denny Ura, a friend and competitor of mine. I beat Callaway earlier that year at Nelson Ledges, in my first National, at age 22. I also know the person who owns "Sledgehammer", now.

People used to argue about this car non-stop on streetfire. 1938 Audi streamliner type C did 270MPH on the public autobahn. Audi made 5 (or more) of them. In 1939, Mercedes was prototyping a 6 wheel streamliner, projected to go over 310 MPH. Hitler invaded Poland instead.

I’ve been in love with the F1s and the F50s since I was a kid. I’ve spent my life seeing people go crazy for the F40 while I’m here thinking why can’t they see the F50 is freaking art on wheels.

Chassis 001 is a unique car, and the one that apparently makes 900 horsepower. This car was the only true development prototype, apparently has a unique engine and was rebuilt by the factory after a crash. It’s been owned by the same guy in California since Ferrari sold it. Everything I’ve read indicates 5 tubs were built. When two more cars were completed for collectors, the owner of 001 sued as he was apparently told he would have the only one. As a result the remaining tubs were allegedly destroyed.

The F1 was so impressive compared to most of the other GT1 cars. It was ridiculously competitive whilst essentially being a road going F1 with no more modification than your average car at a trackday. Racing against full blown race cars that merely shared the name with their roadgoing counterparts.
