I have a class Mercedes 2014 1.6 petrol before start the car i feel sweet smell of coolant and after 3 or 5 days dropping the coolant level and in cold weather windscreen and other windows getting fogs on classes when i starting the heater for 5 or 8 minutes from 2 heater vent cold air coing after 20 minutes getting better what can be the problem please and the same time engine gauge temperature 90 or 39 . But when pulling up the hood i can feel the more heat feels in engine what can be thanke

I bought a Nissan maxima 2012 and thr engine it had a lot of hoses loose and one disconnected at first it didn’t wanna start then eventually I bought some new hoses and changed them but it still wants to stall and sometimes smoke comes out the hood

I hear the hissing, while most other symptoms are not obviously present. 2nd video on this subject I watched. But it is only one that confirmed my suspicion. I would have never suspected from the overflow cap, it sounds more like from the glove box in the driver seat (and might be, but I recently had the overflow cap replaced). And the hiss continued for five minutes after engine shutoff. The film on the window is another not recognized by me symptom mentioned. It's a 19yo car, I expected more corrosion than the other causes. Since radiator fluid is known to be highly corrosive. But the thermostat and related things have been replaced twice in the past two years. First time was a busted plastic housing to the thermostat (the replacement part was metal). The second actually triggered a check engine light. I cooked the engine on the first one, but I did pull over in time to save it (mostly). Very frequent oil changes and complete hose replacements, and other related failure of parts recently replaced. But back to normal-ish now, except heater core.

Yesterday My car wouldn't start. All the electronics in my car will not even turning on. So I thought it was a dead battery so I got to jump start and the car still wouldn't turn on. There was still no power going to the car, even with jumper cables. And what's crazy? Is that The car battery had 12.6 volts but there was no power going to the car. Nothing was turning on. Like as if my car didn't even have a battery but it did. It turned out that the ground connection was a little loose, just a little. It wouldn't Even crank. It can't crank if there's no power at all to the accessories. 0% electrical power going to the car's accessories and sensors and car parts But the battery voltage was at 12.6 volts. So the person who jump started my car got their tools and tightened the ground and made sure that the positive was tightened to and then they still jump. Started my car and it started with no issue and then I plugged in my scan tool and the battery and alternator are good. I've never seen that happen before ever. Cuz when I try to start it it made it clicky noise and that was it. The second time it actually started but shut off immediately. The third time it sounded like as If the engine was getting fuel. And then after the fourth time the whole car lost power 100%. But the battery was good. Once the connections were tighten up. The car started right up and I haven't had an issue since then.

I used a couple of long pry bars and my feet up on the windshield for leverage. I think it went really well except that now the cover is on but the steering wheel is bent, and I have to replace my cracked windshield.

Noise from my vehicle started at 60km/h. As the speed increases, it gets noisier.

Do not put WD40 or any solvent based lubricant on the plastic check strap. YOU MUST USE a synthetic based lube on the plastic check strap such as silicone grease.

My check engine light didnt come on but my car shudders and bucks.i can make it run smoother if i put it in sport mode..it turns out to be one of 2 oxygen sensors which i dont have the money to fix right now. It passed smog because it wasnt both sensors but it must be fixed by next year. This is a huge burden for s retured couple but i will have to find a way. I hope i dont burn out the catalytic converter in the meantime.
