Yes, the Canadian Tuxedo is a thing, but this look was inspired by the 1980 John Travolta hit movie _Urban Cowboy_ . It spawned Western bars and cowboy copycats across the US, even all the way up into New York City.

I was fortunate to see them at Tramps in NYC. I’m obviously a Jellyfish fan, so this was the next best thing at the time. Never got to see Jellyfish. These guys killed it live in a medium sized club like Tramps.
