The castle is kinda like a museum, right? And since the exposition is about medieval age, I think it fits the castle perfectly. There is no "modern place" in Meersburg anyway :D

@@Parlertoutseul oh come to think of it, this place probably is like... Those old houses, that are renovated but still maintained to preserve the history in it, right? Also, I wanna suggest something. Perhaps you can show the bookstore/library too? You know, learning languages is not complete with the media, right? Like theatre, books, movies, and such. Once you learn the language, culture will follow along too 😀

Thanks for sharing your expirience! I've been wanting to start a youtube channel myself but my fear of failure didn't even let me speak in front of the camera. The background music was distracting. It's a video about languages so it's important that the focus should be on being able to clearly hear what you're saying. Other than that, your German is good.

1:57 Hnn je suis tt à fait d'acc avec l'avantage home turf. Au moins pour moi, j'apprends plus par parler dans 1 minute que étudier 1 heure la grammatique, lire, ou traduire en ligne, surtout avec langues asiatiques où apprendre en chemin par parler ça te prend plus loin

Un grv erreur que j'ai fait en tant qu'apprenant ou débutant du fr--c quand j'ai dit «merci beau cul» et pas «mrc bcp» à la prof xd jrv jamais à bien capter le niveau de prononciation que t'as entraîné. ta capacité pour apprendre les langues est tellement hors de ce monde, faut que tu continues comme ça vu que t'as tant progressé frérot tu donnes de l'inspi👍👍👍 note perso: 5:28 sous, sou (1 voyelle plus prononcé vers l'avant)

Hahah yeah no clue why they had the "alphabet" in that order, that's just a random assortment of words and sounds I guess they thought would be the most difficult for beginners but the order still baffles me too😂 We learn the alphabet in the same order as everyone else; A, B, C, D and so on. Thanks for the content, I really found it interesting to see someone from a totally different culture practising Finnish!

@@Parlertoutseul No I think you sounded great and you really nailed the basics for the most part! The pairs A/Ä and O/Ö can be pretty difficult at first to differentiate but it might be beneficial to just try to combine the front and back vowels to see how awkward it feels and see why they aren't combined right after one another in Finnish. For example try saying Y and U repeatedly and you find yourself moving your tongue very awkwardly back and forth. In Finnish we need some extra consonant as a sort of stepping stone to help us move from a back vowel to a front vowel or vice versa. Hope this helps, you're doing great in my opinion!

The super sprint used to be free if you succeed the challenge, but recently they change it, so now it is only 50% cashback. Each class will cost you around €6 if you succeed.

Interesting. I tried out a few online services when starting Japanese and I ended up going with NativShark. It's completely focused on Japanese but I've been impressed with how high quality the lessons are.

Im a native english speaker and am using the app to help me learn russian. I use it as more of a motivational tool than to actually learn. Its not very useful for grammar so I've been using a ton of books for that.

I definitely prefer Busuu's approach. It's been quite a while since I've used Duolingo. But, the sense I have is DuoLingo is an entertaining alternative to flashcards and is most useful as a vocabulary building tool (that may have evolved, since I was active on it). Where I have an issue with Busuu is, about 15-20 chapters in, it becomes really 'uneven' (at least to me). You'll be cruising along, filling in the blank, constructing sentences from a group of words, building confidence step-by-step, and out of the blue (or at least, with minimal preparation and drilling) you are responsible for a handful of verbs, in all of their tenses/conjugations, in order to pass a checkpoint. So, you go back a few chapters, and try to review. But, the chapter just gives very superficial introduction, and a conjugation table, but a bare minimum of contextual practice. If I were to draw an analogy, it would be that you spend weeks, on ramps and stairs. Gradually working up certain concepts, and vocabulary, and gaining confidence in them. Then, you click into a checkpoint and are presented with a wall. You go back looking for the stairs, but finally realize you're going to have to go back, after building your own ladder outside of the app. Given the importance of Spanish verb conjugation, I would appreciate entire chapters that do deeper dives into getting comfortable and confident with each of the tenses. Frustration with this actually broke a long streak for me, and I've been away from it for months.

I know exactly what you mean, I felt that too. By the end of B1 level, there were so many verbs that I didn't even remember what they meant, and I had to conjugate them in subjunctive, future tense, or what not. This is where, I think, you need to also spend some time outside of the app, and just conjugate verbs in all tenses that you have learned so far. Writing a journal will also help since you are forced to use the verbs and conjugate them, and the sentences that you make are daily sentences that you will use it in speaking too. But yeah, good luck in your Spanish learning! :)

😂😂 Französische Aussprache ist nicht so schwer, wie man denkt. Man muss sich daran gewöhnen, aber danach ist es ziemlich einfach. Du kannst vielleicht versuchen, Französisch zu lernen 😉

My streak day on my Duolingo is around 1150 day.. hahaha. Ich stimme dir zu. Duolingo ist gut für Anfänger. Es gibt nur A1-B1 für Deutsch aber Duolingo ist sehr hilfreich für mich. Muss ich die andere App probieren?
