Do you think Oxford would prefer (for medicine) A*AA (bio,chem,maths) or A*A*A (english,bio,chem) And also if I take english, I'm more likely to be able to take on a fourth A-level

Hi! I have volunteered at a care home during Year 10 summer (I will be going to Year 12 this summer). Since that would be quite a while ago when I apply for medicine, will that affect my application at all? I have heard that its better to keep your experiences recent, but I was worried in year 10 about getting work experience at all and worried about exam stress for a-levels so I did it in year 10 when the stress was much less.
