Fully getting back into the swing of our allotment. Out there as often as possible, lots of work to be done, ready for planting in spring. ❤️

Little man decided that he wasn’t going to fall asleep in his cot tonight. Luckily worship music at bedtime sends him straight to sleep. Now to continue this worship session as I reset the house ready for a new week ❤️

After that wake up call this morning, I’ve now set time limits on Facebook, Instagram and KZbin. Aiming for whenever I feel the urge to scroll, to just pray and be present with my Lord and Saviour.

So little man isn’t feeling the greatest, and really struggled to sleep. Made the most of it with an extended worship session ❤️

So a certain someone decided to wake up at 1:20 🙈 I aim for the first thing I do, no matter what time I wake up, to be spend time with God. As I don’t want to be ‘of the world’, I want to be of my Lord and Saviour. Luckily Soft worship music often helps little monkey get back to sleep, so added bonus 😁.

I try to start and end my day in the word and with God in some way, shape or form. We were given this book at the end of our Alpha course, and I’ve found it so insightful and helps me to also get a good nights sleep ❤️

During our church service yesterday. God made me very aware I wasn’t spending enough time with him daily. I decided last night to start the Proverbs31 challenge a few days early. The challenge I found originally through Ashley Heatherington. 31 days of: Bible and worship as soon as you wake up. Exercise Healthy meals. Lets see what the next 31 days looks like 🥰

I love my morning routine in terms of my time spent with God. Which is: Read a chapter in the Bible 1 psalm Reflection Prayer Worship. Planning on restarting psalms from the beginning and putting them out there. ❤️

With how overgrown our allotment became, it has been a long and slow process. The large mount is to be burnt in the autumn. So now aiming to get the back fully mowed, levelled and turned over ready to be covered for next year. Also aiming to tackle the mammoth shrubs at the bottom within the next few weeks ❤️

This is my testimony of my faith journey until this point. Forever thankful to God for never deserting me ❤️

Starting my mornings with God sets me up properly for the day. I find that when I don’t start my day in the word and in prayer, I’m more irritable and just don’t enjoy the day as much.

As stated. This was after 3 re applications of sun cream throughout the day. Can tell I’m a fair lass from Yorkshire 🤣.

Hey, I want to tell you something

Our kitchen is our ‘main traffic area’ The kids are constantly in and out on snack hunts and pots tend to get left until the end of the night, as our 2 year old is an adrenaline junkie that will likely throw himself off the sofa at a seconds notice 😂😂. The kitchen tends to be my last job for the night, as I do love a clean fresh slate in the morning.

Little man woke up at 4, and fell back to sleep at 6:45. I decided I deserved a pamper. So I had an everything shower, badly attempted my eyebrows 🙈🤫, and a face mask. It was nice to just give myself some love and attention after my morning worship ❤️

So our toddler decided to wake up at 4am. So we had a lovely 2.5 hour worship session before he fell back to sleep. ❤️

I wish i had this bond with my sister.

So I’ve been awake since 4 with little man, and as I’m sure you can imagine, I’m really tired. I found my brain trying to rationalise missing church so that I could sleep longer. Don’t get me wrong - the idea of more sleep sounds really tempting. However, I’m not willing to miss an important part of my faith to make that happen. Sickness is a different thing entirely- and church gets missed in those occasions. However, faith and our families happiness are non-negotiable. ❤️

We have just had our final alpha session - for anyone wanting to know more about God, I highly recommend Alpha courses. The final session today was ‘what about the church?’ Basically, we are the church. We are the body and Jesus is the head ❤

I’m lucky enough to work for a company who understands that I need to be flexible due to childcare. I work 4 days a week. 2 days in office, while my son is in nursery, and 2 days at home while I care for my son. As I’m sure you can imagine, work from home days are HECTIC, and most uninterrupted work gets done during nap time. ❤️

Today was our local community carnival. Lots of live music, stalls, and food 🤤 Most important thing - family time ❤️

Just finished reading John, and I usually read 1 of the psalms every day. Time to move onto another book ✝️

My fiancé got me this for Christmas last year. It’s a good read, but I have to keep restarting it, due to no time to actually read it 😂.

Lord, help me seek you above all others, and any worldly possessions. Amen ❤️

Our kitchen is the busiest and smallest room in our home. The moment I get on top of it, it feels like I blink and it’s a mess again. I’ve found doing it in 15 minute intervals really helps, or I get overwhelmed.
