This assumes a dumb criminal. If they know about the barricade it's a simple few cuts around the obvious bolts on the bottom, or just cut the bolts

All they had to do was ask and buddy with the camera on the other side of the door to let him in. They didn't need to beat on the door so much.

So sledge hammer to where nightlock is and wallah that door is passed. You can't use traditional locations when the two screws give away there's a spot that clearly is holding it. All the force in the single location and that will peel off the door in a couple swings.

this is bogus for one, secondly... if a shooter had these tools, he would just go through the wall... alot easier.

I’m a commercial contractor! And can tell you this entire video is a waste of time and 99% of this crap wouldn’t get through any school door. And half of these tests are on the wrong side of the door! You’re not gonna kick a door through the closing frame! There’s 50 products already on the market that schools will actually use that don’t require holes in the floor and will work 100x better! Most of these test put zero stress on that device and all on the full mortise lock! Go to a double swing gym door, no lock and watch a 165lb rip his crap right out of the door!! Good grief!

Device should come with a magnet that secures to the door with adhesive so that the locking device can be held by the magnet when not in use. Also, the locking device should be attached to the door with some steel wire so that it doesn't get lost or stolen.

Someone would really have to want in to keep going, after so much noise the school resource officer or the homeowner(if you put this in your home)would have put down the perp. Why are these not constructed in EVERY classroom across the nation? One has to wonder if these would have made a significant difference in the elementary school in Uvalde, TX? Until there is a substantial change in gun regulations, there MUST be better security measures, as there is the technology to do so!

yet they cost $60 when they cost probably $20 to make, really greedy for a product that 'saves lives' which it does, but schools don't bother buying it because they can't afford it :)

I m not sure about ur door technology in the US esp the one that has glass...is it a burglary proof glass or normal double glazing glass? If it s the latter and if were the burglar, i wud just break the glass and enter thru it without hvg to kick or push the whole door although there is a Nightlock (no offence guys)
