Tell the truth. You have searched for this video.

If there's anyone still doing this, almost everyone will tell you it's simply not worth it. The Zoom is capable of recording some incredibly high quality audio, but limited what it will pass out of the 1/8th inch jack. You're sacrificing the quality of your audio, turning it from analog, to digital, to analog, and then back to digital again just so you don't have to line up your audio later. Best option is to keep them separate, unless you don't need high quality audio and don't mind cords everywhere.
