Love how you teach. I've been learning the Ukelele for a few months and you're method of showing the strum technique was excellent. Thank you 😊

Hi Andy! :) Thank you for the great videos! Is there any news about Octopus Ukulele making a Guitalele please? :) My question is my strumming fingers hurt sometimes after playing. Do you any advise for making strumming easier on the fingers please?

This is fantastic - I love seeing how things are made, so thank you Octopus as I've never seen how a Uke is made. I have a Soprano and Concert Octopus and I love them (even more than my Fender one...😬) - just need to try and get a Tenor Octopus now. Great video of a great Uke 🙂

I've developed a strong interest in your channel, and I eagerly anticipate every video you release. Your content speaks to me on a personal level, and I'm genuinely impressed with its high quality. As a seasoned digital marketer and SEO expert, I see significant potential for elevating your channel to new heights. I'm confident in my ability to assist you in maximizing your content's monetization and optimizing the SEO for approximately 5 to 6 of your videos. Whether it's fine-tuning keywords, implementing revenue generation strategies, or any other requirements you have in mind for channel monetization, I'd love to have a conversation to delve deeper into these possibilities and explore potential collaborations.

Dear Sir, Your video Optimization isn't SEO perfect. our video quality is very good but views are not getting. I notice one thing that according to your channel your channel videos are not views and subscribed. You need to optimise your channel and do video SEO to reach your target audience. If your channel is optimised a little and if the videos are SEO then your channel will rank very fast and your channel will grow.

Andy, I have just watched this out of interest, and I am so impressed by your style of teaching and explanation. I used to go to Worsbrough GFS meetings back in the day of the brilliant DeniseTalyor. I have played guitar badly for years but now suffer severe arthritis in my left thumb, and find playing painful.I would just like to thankyou for the many hours of pleasure I have enjoyed watching you over the years.Long may you continue, and I think you should be working in our schools teaching music as your relaxed ways would benefit the children .Keep strumming and once again a big thanks from Garry in Barnsley UK

Contrary to what Andy Eastwood says, Hawaiian uke players DO use the open/'Hawaiian' D7. How about these guys, just for example: - Jarret Delos Santos: kzbin.info/www/bejne/iaaTe5Jqqq-Xfbc (0:51) - Israel Kamakawiwoʻole: kzbin.info/www/bejne/p6mxoaGcqKmXjpY (2:20) You can see them using this chord in these videos at the times indicated, and elsewhere. Sometimes the barred D7 suits a song better than the Hawaiian D7, and vice versa. When you're playing along with other instruments (e.g., guitar, bass), then the missing D root note doesn't matter. Also, it should be noted that jazz guitarists often play chords excluding the root note. As for repeated notes being a 'waste' on the uke, how about D, F, G, Bb, A ...all of which have repeated strings. So, not a valid criticism.

And we are still going strong lovely people at Octopus. We now actually have 3 different clubs - Ukulaliens (main club - try searcning youtube ;-) ), a beginners club and even a staff group. Thank You for all the encouragement at the start, we now have over 30 Octopus ukes in our collection and many many pupils have bought them over the years. Loving the new, latest designs. Good Morning Al, I did a blind online buy of Octopus Tenor 225C & it's sounding boxy. It's not bright as a typical Uke. I made the purchase from Octopus website but it was delivered by Chamberlain Music store. Did a make wrong decision?
