Well for crap sake. So many questions. I'm going to throw it out there. I'm Old and I guess I really didn't realize how much things have changed. You see when I went to school we were taught that if a creature was warm blooded it is classified as a animal, when it is cold blooded it is a reptile. So when did that baseline change ? At one point you referred to the snake as an animal, so when did that classification cease ? I also want to know how you can tell if you ripped that snake's ass ? Your Warning came Way too late after the video had started. I don't care one way or another because after all it's only a freaking snake, it's not like it has feelings or anything. I mean it is interesting but gross is my opinion.

Reptiles are still animals, do you mean mammal?
@thechellenator
@thechellenator 2 жыл бұрын
Do you maybe mean "mammal", not "animal"? I ask because the biological kingdom Animalia was first classified back in like the 1700s or something, and it includes anything that consumes organic material, breathes oxygen, can move under its own power, and reproduces sexually (with a few exceptions for animals that can reproduce through parthenogenesis). So that's both vertebrates and invertebrates, everything from bugs to reptiles to mammals. "Animal" covers a lot, and its modern definition is still older than anyone alive today. Also, fun fact: It's been scientifically established that snakes do have feelings! We know for sure that they experience at least fear, aggression, confusion, curiosity, and pleasure, which means they likely also experience more nuanced feelings that combine two or more of those five basic ones. :)

When this happens in hatchlings, are they able to eat and pass food normally after the impaction is removed?
@JoshCviper
@JoshCviper 2 жыл бұрын
This one needed to be assist fed a few meals to get her strength to par. After that she started taking on her own and is doing just as well as her siblings, digestion is also good.

@@JoshCviper That's awesome! I know balls can be notoriously finicky eaters anyway, so I was curious as to how coming out of the egg with an issue like hardbelly might affect them.

Cool vid From when we estimate it's no more the normal belly full after hatching ? And it's time to remove it manually ? After what age ? Thank you much
@JoshCviper
@JoshCviper 2 жыл бұрын
This had had went through the shed process and all others started eating about 10 days later. I realized this one was bolted looking so I felt it and it was rock solid. I went from there. It’s usually not noticed right away, takes time to harden. To help with the time line keep in mind, the yolk is the snakes first meal so essentially what happens is it didn’t break down properly.

Is the yolk normally a red or does it start out yellow? Also is the hatchling *fresh* out of the egg? Or is it a few days? Sorry for the questions, I just like snakes.
