This is Steckler's homage to the silent comedy shorts of the 10s/20s. He claimed to have filmed it in 1959, but this was probably shot sometime between 62-63. Steckler, who was a photographer, loved silent movies because as he said, "the pictures spoke for themselves". Like the original silent shorts, the plot is loose, but entertaining nonetheless. The only major thing he got wrong was the sound effects, which were never in silent movies, unless the musical accompaniment included them in the theater, but you would never hear car sounds, water sounds, footsteps, etc.

Santa Monica Canyon, Natural Progression- Surf Scene, watched this and Runman 2 hundreds of times as a grom. So glad I got surf and grow up in that area at that time. Love how they included un-showable Hawaii spots too. So sick!
