@PennsylvaniaOutdoors-ki8tm we got about 8 inches of fluffy snow. North of me got well over a foot with ice 😬. I feel like I really lucked out.

@Lays-barbecue-chipy We don't get too much heavy snow either. So I am very excited about it. I remember as a kid we got 12 inches of snow several times a winter. I used to sled down 16 foot snow drifts. It was the best. I love snow so much. I'm glad you're getting a little bit ❄️

First off you are bold! I give it to you and yes I can relate with the mouse as a present thing…I remember when my old cat use to do that in a regular! It use to terrify me when I came home to find them on the bed! NYC btw! lol anyways I miss my smokes! He was 13 before he passed it’s been years but I still feel his spirit! Ain’t no one like you Smokey…momma misses you every day ❤

Thank you for sharing about Smokey. I had a very special cat named Willard, whom I still dearly miss. Hard to lose a special friend. Willard was 18 when he passed. He laid out in the yard next to me while planting flowers. Then he went and curled up in his bed and passed away. I was devastated. He laid right down about 10 feet from me. I was talking to him and looked over and he was gone. I swear I can feel him jump on my bed at night sometimes. Thank you for commenting and being here ❤.

if its cows milk it might not be good for the cat because most cats are lactose intolerant and it can cause stomach issues but some cats are not.

I have read about this too. I only give them milk a few times a year because it's $11 a gallon here. So I am not too worried about it. They never seem to have any adverse effects. Plus they only get a very tiny bit. Thank you for commenting and being here! ❤

I can't believe we still have knuckle-draggers who still buy into the cow's milk for cats crap. Most cats are lactose intolerant and don’t have the enzymes necessary to break down lactase, which is found in milk.

Mine catch adult squirrels and eat them whole 😳 It's shocking. They don't touch rabbits though. Probably because they were raised with my rabbits. I find Cleo sleeping with my Flemish Giant bunny all the time. It's so cute. Thank you for watching and commenting ❤

It’s true, relocating can be a temporary fix sometimes. But we relocate them an hour north from here on our family farm. I love you KatieKate!! Your Homestead is the absolute best. Happy New Year!❤

To be fair my own chickens will have different colored yolks and they all live together same food but different shades of yellow 😊 I love them all! The main difference I notice between my own eggs and store eggs is my eggs are much more clear or translucent, I thought it was maybe their just really fresh, but I’ve had an egg a month later and it still comes out of the shell very clear, not white or foggy like store bought eggs.

There is a taste difference but the color isn't the reason it's been found out that the color of the egg very closely relates to what they're eating give them chile peppers and it'll go more reddish

My eggs taste fresh and have no aftertaste. The market eggs have an old gamey flavor. You can also see how clear my yolk is and how cloudy the market egg is. Typically means the hen is dehydrated if it's cloudy.

I bet that's fun to watch! I typically don't mess with them and they are pretty docile. We have had too many attacks here and I have decided to relocate them. It was a mother and 2 younger ones that have been pestering my farm. I live on a dead end road and people dump opposums out here all the time. I suspect this little family was dumped. Mainly because of their aggressive behavior towards me and my other animals. We have a family farm and hour north and we relocate them there. It's just barns, lakes and farmland. Plenty of food and space for them.
