I forgot to talk about on loss of support. If lS is any value other than zero you will have to do correction for the k value. There is a chart for that. No you neednt to use PSI values

I Didn't understand the part that... How from 0.6d = 0.125.can you pls show me the mathematical calculation of this part and also for 0.2d and 0.8d. TIA

For streams where the depth is less than 0.6m, the velocity is usually measured at the 60% depth (0.6 method) and this measurement is taken to be the average velocity in the individual section. Shallow depth does not allow accurate measurements at two depths. For depths greater than 0.6m and up to 2m, measurements are taken at the 80% and 20% depths and the two measurements are averaged.
