Nice review! A little thing to take notice of in future reviews.. You should always translate the face controls in LOCAL space, in world space you don’t get the right angle of the control and no mirror behaviour. Also use the little square in the translate tool for translation in X and Y at the same time. When doing that for instance with the mouthcorner for left and right at the same time you should get perfect mirrored behaviour.

@@BiancaBusato Maya has more available rigs and it's more used in the industry, blender is free and easier to find online tutorials. I think either way for animation doesn't make much difference

I just put the reference as an image sequence inside maya Image Plane, I hope that helps!

@@bmd_videos yeah, try to export the image sequence in jpg and the resolution lower like 720p. if it's too heavy I believe KeyframeMP has a plugin that syncs the scrub with the maya timeline

I think it was a lesson and he was just explaining something to the students, drawing diagrams on top of his work. He doesn't need it, just clarification.

🤣Still struggling with Maya's ik-fk? lol Because of this how many people wrote thousands of scripts and plugins... and the Rigger profession was invented! hahaha .. and still Maya is undeveloped software! for artists..
