This is the most emotional scene in the film because to me, Dr. Schultz is the best character in the film. He literally gave Django his freedom as well as Hildie’s and he sacrificed himself to stop Candy. Dr. Schultz was the real hero in this film.

This scene breaks my heart on Schultz coz he looks like a child lying on the floor, so naive, pure and innocent. Despite having questionable morals; seeing how slaves being treated still traumatized him...

I bet Django didnt think it was selfish, in fact despite the insane hardships and near death he experienced as a result of shchultz killing candy, i bet he would have done the same thing. when django sees his dead body and bids him goodbye in german, there is def genuine friendship and gratitude there.

why was Dr. Schultz's body in a barn, not inside the burned down house?
@seanbannon79393 ай бұрын
Because while cleaning and picking up all the dead bodies after the shootout the night before, they probably picked him up and just threw him in the barn to get him out of the big house

@RubenMakaya Жыл бұрын
Retarded comment, Django appreciated what Schultz had done for him, but his focus was on getting his wife back and destroying what remained of Calvin's estate to avenge the dead, including his friend. Schultz would've thought the same and surely told Django to keep moving, rather than stand still on his death.

In all honesty, I wouldn't be able to walk away from him with giving him a proper burial, knowing he's laying there silently and knowing what he did for me I couldn't, if I wrote this I would have Django placing a cross at his grave saying only one phrase Auf Weidersen.

Hancock broke a train for the man who'd become his PR guy. Schultz freed Django and Django became his apprentice. If you are ever, through skill or strength or luck, in a position to save a life with a single decisive act.... *Take that chance.* It'll make you a *hero.* And heroes are *loved.*
