the main thing for me is the separating MAIN GAME from DLC and multiplayer, like, for the love of god, i dont wanna complete the game 100% to get my platinum, playstation is MUCH superior in this part

Rare achievement notification noise is so good😩😩

Overall I think the Xbox achievement system takes more stress off of me than it does when it comes to PlayStation because there no optional goal for a platinum. But I like the stress. And I think the platinum trophy option puts it above all Xbox achievements because that’s like the ultimate achievement. But in this video the Xbox still wins😂

I got both systems too. Always been a fan of both but always leaned waaayy more towards PlayStation since ps1-ps2, but stayed with it I realized growing up because of the better games on PlayStation. But anyways he started off by saying “I’ll try not to be bias” and continued to be bias😂 he admitted he’s an Xbox fan and showcases just as much, so this is basically a video to show why, as a fan, he thinks Xbox is better in this particular way than PlayStation. And that’s kinda fine cause at least this was small, chilled video, but I feel like I was tricked cause it wasn’t a fair/unbiased fight/comparison😂🤦🏾‍♂️

I have gotten a bunch of Titanfall 2 achievement , but have not been given Gamerscore for it, the achievements appear in the EA play app, not the Xbox app, how can I get Gamerscore for EAplay gams?

You can get Platinums without DLC….a lot of Xbox games require DLC to get 100%

I think Xbox could show a number of games that the player completed 100% and easily accessible list of them. That's how you know what kind of games the player likes.

360s achievement system was far superior.

Achievements are better for me because on a playstation you mod trophies and cheat

XBOX should make a Golden Achievement which would be the final one for getting all achievements in games an equivalent to the Platinum trophy on Playstation. I much prefer the Playstation trophy system no feeling beats getting that Platinum and hearing the sound when it unlocks

Xbox app uses the default achievement sound, and Minecraft on most other platforms will have a special sound for rare achievements, otherwise it will use the Xbox achievement sound for normal achievements

Id rather achieve something than get a trophy but thats me.

Ngl I notice the achievement sound when i play xbox, but i don’t feel? like gratified when i get an achievement. But then again i have never actively tried trophy hunting so i don’t know what it’s like going for an achievement, grinding, and actually getting it.

My preference is Playstation because of the platinum trophies. Playstation also has the level system where the more trophies you get the higher the level you are. which also gives you a different icon on your psn profile depending on your level

Im not a tropy or score hunter, but i prefere the xbox gamerscore. I understand the merit of platinums, but im never gonna grind it out to get one, some of the requirements for aome games are nuts, id rather just have a total score of points...that and the xbox pop sound is far superior. I juat wish on pc it popped the same as on console. Ps5 should have a more exciting notification its the same as every other notification.

I so wish the whole trophy/achievement system was one united system, it sucks that you have to pick one as your main platform and miss out on exclusives. Unfortunately Ms/Sony would never agree to something like that but would be so much better

look dont bash on xbox achievements there the ogs at doing achievements since the og xbox there was all ways achievements not many people know that the og xbox from 2001 achievements was a thing not till ps3 that we got any sony kind off copy them on this not only just scores also you can get credit for achievements for money in bing rewards just like ps with there own rewards too i like that i never know that will happen too get moeny i use it for my gamepass gold for some reason i am locked too the 1$ game pass gold member ship just turn off auto renew actually you do get money for ps plus one if you renew your ps plus or buy games digital for the throphies

Great points. Even as someone who started out on achievement hunting back in the 360 days. Mine has to go to Playstation just for the simple fact,I can always just trophy hunt and sync my progress later,while on Xbox sometimes when re connecting to the internet they won't pop, or not all registered so I have to replay a game to get them. Id love to see Xbox also separate games and dlc achievements in the future that be a nice touch
