Ok checking back in after using this technique… WHAT WITCHCRAFT IS THIS ! It worked perfect ! Looks so good ! Thank you ! Usually I either tape pattern or measure the circumference which never looks great .

I’ve got to make a couple of cowls for some heads I made I usually end up with 8 pieces and a zipper to sew in . I’m going to try your method. Thanks !
