Would this box be better or the topps chrome from that same year? This year had the best rookies for sure and im very tempted to buy a hobby box from that year but dont know which would be the best one?

I think in general people prefer SCC despite chrome being more flagship. In terms of singles value chrome is better but the image variations and autos look so much cooler from SCC

Ehhhh is the right feeling 😂 the relics I believe are blaster exclusive so there’s more to chase in them. And yes because the hangers are $12.99 and not 9.99 the blasters carry better value!

Not so much him but rather what you would be offered by various people if you pulled the card. The Pirates are offering a pair of 30 years of behind-home-plate season tickets which you could sell for about $30k a year I’d imagine and you’ll get some other meet and greets. Pretty nuts!

@@cubsfan5734 Quoting the Pirates they said "they'd love to bring this card back home to PNC Park to share with all Buccos fans". Furthermore on top of the 30 year pair of season tickets they're also offering: a private 30 person softball game at PNC park coached by former Pirates players, a private spring training tour next year alongside batting practice with the team, meet-and-greet with Paul Skenes, 2 autographed jerseys, and some other hidden surprises. Sounds like a solid deal tbh!

Pretty good box overall! Congratulations on the pulls. That 20/21 class is still producing hits and players are emerging from the rookies that didn't get a lot of attention when the set was released (Liverpool's Konate is a good example). I pulled the same "hair color match" Mbappe & got a PSA 10 on it. This set also produced one of my favorite cards ever, too. It was the Messi #10/10 Orange Electric Charge that I pulled from one of my earliest boxes. It also got a PSA 10. I used to say that it was the only "Quad 10" in the population report meaning jersey number, both serial numbers and the grading score all being "10". I sold it at The National and have come to regret doing so. 🙄

The best possible pull would be a 1/1 black pulsar Endrick or Messi probably, there’s also 1/1 autos which the Messi/Maradona dual was pulled. As for the packs I opened in this video nothing was worth more than $5

Wow that was horrible 😢, bad luck mate, the increase in old players and so on is ruining the hobby imo, they should only produce from the year they are active and it makes old and rare cards more important now we have junk wax of historic players everywhere

@@Brianccards adding these R9 cards and Beckham and all these old players is not how the hobby should go, it's makes the original cards so much more important, it's also puts emphasis on collecting and keeping cards that maybe one day will be the next Ronaldo or Messi. @@ZK-lu8je Unfortunately not -- the MO format was not available to the public directly from Topps as it's meant to be a breakers format only. Quite confusing since "Breakers Delight" for 23/24 UCC Chrome was available to the public.

@@ZK-lu8je No I meant you need to be partnered with Topps as a breaker to be able to get access to Members Only boxes directly from them. If you want Members Only boxes now you can get them on the secondary market. For UCC Deco you just need an EQL account for the drop and that's it as it is available to the public

If you’re gonna buy SCC I’d still spend the money on members only as opposed to hobby. Hobby is just base auto after base auto. Shouldn’t be the case with members only!

Haha it’s pretty unreal, I’ve watched many cases and this is the first time I’ve seen two base autos. Only other time I’ve seen this was when there were 3 autos or it was a base behind the lens auto and a base auto. Anyways, that Roque is the only card I’m holding onto from this box, his prices have fallen drastically and it’s a fair hold. I think he’ll do alright

That's rough man. Given the price point, I think it is entirely ok to be dissapointed. Most of the value will be tied up in the Members Only parallels, so obviously that's what you want to hit. That said, nice selection of players though.

Yeah I tried not to be too disappointed since there was a Camarda auto but it sucks when 99% of boxes have a members only auto and I got a base Maguire 😂 saving my luck for something big I suppose. My plan is to sell everything except the Roque image variation, more future ceiling than current floor it seems

Totally fair take. I always give my honest opinion and Breakfast is one of my closest friends in the hobby. With these repacks he discloses the exact print run and what’s put in the backs and has a channel in his discord server where people can post their hits. Personally I’d never buy repacks from eBay or anyone that I wasn’t close with indeed!
