Hal had an incredible year. I love that she's not afraid to wear her heart on her sleeve and be confidently vulnerable. She's much more than just a ball winner, but that's what I love most about how she plays. Her tenacity in the duels and perseverance. I hope she never changes that side of her game. It's how I play, and it's how I love to see others play. She's a total midfield destroyer! She's absolutely setting an example and a great role model for younger people (and older) to strive and work hard for their dreams and goals. And be proud of yourself for what you accomplish. I can't wait to see what she achieves in her career. Happy holidays, everyone ❤

This was my first season with the team and while it wasn't the ending we wanted. They did better than what most expected. We take what we learned from this season and build on it to become even better next year.

Big Fan of Esme Morgan. She was completely dismissed as a defender by Banda. As an ice hockey player, Esme committed the biggest error of watching the ball and not watching the attacking player's chest. It served me unspeakably well in my soccer career as a defender. In hockey you will tie the attacking player up or take them out of the play physically no matter what the moves are... so they cannot get around you. If Esme had stepped one step forward with her eye on Banda's chest at any one of the three moments, Banda wouldn't have been able to even make a clean pass muchless a shot on goal...

Aubs, you played incredibly well. don’t let the goal define you. it’s not your fault. it was a very lucky goal. you made a lot of good saves and no goalkeeper can save everything all the time. keep your head up and keep going. you got it Aubs. ❤

Great season for the Spirit, unlucky the team was punished for a defensive mistake. Great to hear both take responsibility for the goal because it was a poor goal to concede. With all those opportunities the Spirit should have converted and been more clinical. It wasn't to be. See y'all next season.

Yeah it sucks that offense players can whiff and miss all sorts of chances but it only takes one mistake from the defense to lose a game …. They played well and big of them to take responsibility.

Morgan looked totally out of place on the team. She did not seem to know when to press the attackers or retreat.

Are you serious? She was stuck going one on one with Banda, who was just declared the World Player of the Year 2024 with no backup and held her own. Banda's goal in the final was frankly lucky.
