Hi liz, the first Goodwill you went to also has an outlet on the end of the building where you buy things by the pound. I live in Summerville we also have a community thrift store on the corner of Dorchester Rd. and Ladson Rd.. Goodwill on Trolley Rd.There's also several antique booth stores on Main St. We have a large flea market on hwy 78. I'm just so happy to find a seller, thriftier near me. Welcome to South Carolina!

Thank you Darlene! I’ve been to Summerville and love it there! I have visited the antique shops there and found so many great items! I haven’t found the flea market? I’ll have to look into that, that’s my kinda thing lol! ❤️

Since it’s been almost a year living here, I have found the most extraordinary items and have found more items here than in my old state. So I have had quite a time shopping here so far lol!!

The wheelbarrow was used for nuts in shells. The center with holes was for holding the nutcracker and picks. My mom had one years ago

I lived there for 2 years. My honey hole was the Goodwill in Summerville. I bought some of my best ever finds there. Try that GW and there is an antique store across the street a little way down the road. Also, Goode Creek has a good GW and a great Antique Mall

I had bought a pair of watercolor prints very reminiscent of Charleston when I visited a few yrs ago. Sadly gave them away when I moved down south from Midwest. Had to cut down stuff as I already had enough to fill that 53 ft truck lol

I plan to visit Charleston this summer as it’s less than 3 hours away from me. Weekend trip 😊. The bowl from India seems stainless steel. “Indian silver” is typically sterling silver (92% purity, higher is too soft to work with). That silver urn with oxidized neck is beautiful for that price!!!

Those crystal candlesticks, I believe, are from Tiffanys. They were worth, in the 80s, around 100 each.
