How have. missed Armstrong and Miller all of these years? I was living overseas when all series aired, but I've been back a long while now. However, it's not all bad. At least I've come across them now and have something that's enduringly, screamingly funny to watch.

Nothing beats British sketch comedies. As an Aussie I grew up on British comedy. Armstrong and Miller are among the best I’ve ever seen.

@24:51 The first time I saw this, I remember getting the gag just before the audience all get it & letting out a loud guffaw that scared the hell out of my new girlfriend's cat. He jumped a foot in the air, shot me the stinkeye & ran from the room. Poor puss never liked me after that & often left whatever room I entered... for 2 & a 1/2 years.

I was out of the country when this was aired and I never heard of Armstrong and Jones till today when someone mentioned them in a comment on a Hale and Pace video. I enjoyed this first one and will watch some more.

@16:35 he says the word 'disgusting' the same way Basil Faulty said it in the wedding party episode 🤭 and that's how well I know my vintage bbc comedies (not just bbc but comedy playhouse...etc, aka when we had tv that I could stomach and get a good laugh from ☺

I’m in the front row of the audience. I tried to do the ‘we punch ducks’ line of the song but they didn’t like my take and went with someone else. Just imagine where my career could’ve gone with that break in showbiz

Top 3 recurring characters/sketches for me are...in no order really...The RAF Men, The Divorced Dad and Kill Them. The Secret Service Boss who insists his staff only work 9-5 is a close 4th

I saw alexander Armstrong while I was in town. He had been doing a live version of the show. I was a massive fan of the series so when I saw my hero I said hello. He completely ignored me.
@DeathnoteBB2 жыл бұрын
Yeah he’s human and maybe wasn’t in the mood at the time. Sorry that happened but one massive fan’s hero is their own person who gets tired. Hell maybe he didn’t hear you. Again, sorry that happened though.
