A man is only attracted to you when you say no to him... When you like him and you say yes, he vanishes. I don't have power to say no, i don't want to say no, but saying yes meaning you are loosing him almost immediately.

It's NOT easy for a woman to find a guy. You men should stop thinking this way, like there is always someone in our phone we can call to have sex. That thinking makes me insane actually. There must me a reason we don't call those guys we presumably have in our phone. Finding someone you like is almost impossible.

This is hilarious because as men we are taught to allow women to pursue us after dates/sex so we know where we mentally stand with women. If they message us first we can assume that everything went well and it’s safe to plan another time to make plans together. If you guys don’t message us at all then we RISK overextending by reach out early. This could interfere with women’s processing time and COULD make you as the man appear needy/eager. (Which is associated with weakness) The bottom line is woman can afford to make emotional decisions whereas Men absolutely cannot. If a woman doesn’t contact the man after sex we are to assume logically that she’s simply not interested. If a guy doesn’t reach out it can also mean he’s not interested OR he could be exercising patience so that he doesn’t overextend. See how this information could be misleading? Remember only ONE of us could AFFORD to make an emotional decision here. Sure, both parties are at risk of being manipulated emotionally… but out of the two only women have the ability to socially step out on a emotional decision, not men. Just be careful with the information in this video. Y’all stay safe out there

I fell in love with a functional alcoholic & he warned me that he didn't want to hurt me and I should just run from him like he was on fire. He was treating so good and it took a while too see his true colors. He quit drinking cold-turkey instead of going to rehab as planned. I saw his angry side and I was shocked. We got into a bad argument and we broke up. I miss him daily, but I can't be with him like this. 😢

What if the sex is bad but it's not the woman's fault it was. Like what if the guy is super rough and aggressive and then they ghost the woman. Will the man still try to come back after "bad" sex?

There's no way to tell since sometimes they'll wait a long time then do the same thing after he finally gets sex. Fact is we can literally go thru thousands of men and have the same thing happen. There's no gurantees. Im not happy in my lukewarm marriage but its either go thructhe hellscape of these men or be single

My ex ruined his marriage & now our relationship He went to detox once but only got sober for one day I finally had to leave after giving him three chances over a year and a half I’ve been through this with other alcoholics and I can’t do it anymore 😢💔 I didn’t give him any ultimatums. He ended it because of something he perceived I did wrong! Bc he wouldn’t talk about it

Is there any greater or more obvious red flag waving in the wind when you start falling for an alcoholic or drug addict? It's not them you need to save; it's yourself.

Thank you for making this video. It was really helpful. I've been dating an alcoholic for about a year and finally hit my breaking point. The lies and aggression got to be too much. I do love him and believe he can change and be sober one day. He's done it in the past and he can do it again. He begs that I be there for him as support through this. And that he's fully committed. He started our relationship with an active addiction and was careless about it, hurting me and creating trauma in the process. I struggle with what period of time should go by to see if he's committed to sobriety. You mentioned at least 3 to 6 months. I guess there's no exact amount of time but that's a good starting point. I just have to move on and focus on taking care of myself in the present and hope for the best for him. Time will tell...

There are a couple of red flags in your comment that suggest you will be a willing co-dependent until he reaches rock bottom. You are too enamored with your role in the drama. He wasn't "careless" during his "active addiction" , he is an addict as he has failed at sobriety before ("He's done it in the past"). He knows you suffer from Florence Nightingale Syndrome so he's "begging" you to fulfill that role. You are just avoiding the inevitable and clinging to an illusion because you like the romantic narrative of being the rescuer. The next time there is "aggression" you might end up in an ER....or a casket. .

I gave my fiance 2 years to stop drinking and she never did. I loved her so much but I had to finally leave for myself. I would find empty mini shots in the cabinets and trash. Constant lies and driving drunk. We both have kids from previous relationships. I just couldn’t do it anymore. Thank you for sharing

I had a experience recently. The first time we had sex he messged quickly after. The next day we had sex again and he went funny on me. I reacherd out first to say how is he. And he replied with "grand rising" as it was morning. When i said ' morning how are you' since then no reply. Ignored. I am not too sure how to go forward now with his. I am so angry about it and angry with myself. He has a daughter and 4 sisters and he does this to women.

Yes, and amen! My housemate has become combative, argumentative, belligerent, verbally, emotionally abusive, spewing out obscenities when she drinks excessively. She is in denial, rebellious to seek any help and has fought me as her friend and roommate, her children and family throwing everyone out if we try to keep her accountable. I thought she would drink herself to death had I not been in the home with her she would have been gone, I it's bad her alcohol abuse is out of control it's not a matter of her life hanging in the balance. She has a full blown addiction to alcohol and prescription meds. She has started dating men and not yet legally divorced, that's risky business and immoral, I can't say anything to give her good wise advice because she becomes abusive...

Yes, that is a tough situation and I have heard your story more than once. The hard reality is you have done all you can do and it seems as though it is time to step away. Make sure she knows if she ever wnats to get sober and get help that she can come to you but you need to protect yourself. The most help you can give her is to not help her in the ways we want to help. The help yoou can provide is by not being available to her. That is my suggestion and take on the situation

The relationships don't work, but if a guy is looking for an easier lay than a woman in her prime, and if the older woman doesn't mind getting ghosted after a few rounds of sex, then people are free to do as they please.

What does this have to do with interracial? Interracial relationships are evil. If I was emperor I'd make it illegal, punishable by sterilization and possibly jail time for rehabilitation depending on the circumstances
@mysimpletruth7904
@mysimpletruth7904 8 ай бұрын
That is an interesting perspective you have. Emperor? I know you were trying to be clever but that terminology is a window into your innermost self. It seems as though fear has consumed you and turned into false truth. Now your ego has overcompensated to protected you from feeling pain. Reality is if you truly believed what you said I would love to have a conversation with you about your perception of this topic. But the truth is you don't believe any of what you said , you were taught this idea from others and you have adopted this narrative to protect yourself from actually learning and maybe being wrong and then the feeling of uncomfortable that happens when you are wrong. You are scared of not fitting in and scared of something being taken from you that cannot be taken anyways but now you are just freely giving it away. I wish you the best and I hope you will find another way of moving through this life that is more true to the real you and not this character you have invented. Don't be scared of life, there is no need, life is to good for that.

It been a lifetime since i left my alcoholic and the trauma still fills my dreams. Ivremarried and moved on, but i will never get over tyevhurt, fear and anger. He died drunk and alone. It's so hard to understand why?
@mysimpletruth7904
@mysimpletruth7904 8 ай бұрын
Why is always a tough thing to understand. Being with an alcoholic is usually filled with extreme highs and lows and more often than not ends in a extreme low. My suggestion is focus on the new husband and the new family and do your best to accept the fact that your previous husband made a choice to finsh this life the way he did, as sad as that is. You could not have changed the outcome no matter what you did. Thank you for your words.
