As much as I enjoy Steve’s music, Justin was better. Singing, writing, and guitar playing. There’s still a few JTE albums I have explored thoroughly. I’m going extra slow so it feels like hes still here.

Maybe someone can correct me but I think it's Adam Green who was their support act on the tour 🐄

Conor’s solo shit has always been solid. Mystic valley stole my heart but upside down mountain broke it and rebuilt it.

He is the best American songwriter of the last 30 years. Hard to express how much I love his music. I have gotten to see him and Bright Eyes live 27 times. I’m 42 and his music has been with me since I was a 15 yr old junior in high school. As a songwriter he’s in there with Paul Simon and Tom Waits. Just a few steps behind Bob Dylan

The best lineup the shins ever had. Wincing the night away was their last true great album.

THIS is the SHINS I always loved the midway solo from 'mines not a high horse'.... It sounds reminecent of an 'Echo and the bunnyman' solo, the guitar sounds that they would get.

My god, what an amazing talent. And singing about his own demise. Not only in this song but in Harlem River Blues. Can't hear either of them without thinking about what a talented beautiful young man this world lost.

Gosh...I cannot believe that you don´t get more clicks here. Your songs are really fun to listen to. Lots of musical extra ideas of sound. The glockenspiel, melodica and the saxophones are lovely in this song. And your voice is also great. Keep on rollin`! ❤
