Which section of the river is this that you paddled? Get in & Take out please.
@tjsx1012 жыл бұрын
Put in at Rhydymain and got off at the bridge at Bont Newydd.
@dstanley73332 жыл бұрын
What access did you have as last I checked this is a private area.
@tjsx1012 жыл бұрын
Access is very easy. The put-in we used has a small path from the layby next to the bridge at Hall Dunnerdale to the left bank of the river. The take-out is also river left just after the A595 crosses the river at Duddon Bridge onto a public footpath. The access in the middle at the brigde at Ulpha is on open access CROW land so that's dead easy as well.

Thanks. Balancing the sound is always a bit of a challenge. Partly down the sometimes strange effects when filming with a gopro in water. Something I'm wanting to improve on though so appreciate the comment.

Great video! Did you get the level from the gauge at threlkeld? (Riddings wood)? All the old guides use levels from a gauge that no longer exists. Thanks
@tjsx1012 жыл бұрын
It's an environment agency gauge at Greta Bridge. check-for-flooding.service.gov.uk/station/5060

Given the number of people in the area with an outdoor lifestyle it should be popular.
