Great tutorial! One question: would walling off the space between the trap and the beds stop the farmers from breeding? Or would they just need to be in the vicinity of the beds? I’m wondering if there’s any way to temporary turn on/off the breeder to get better control on population size. If breaking pathfinding does it, I’m imaging adding space for a sticky piston wall to open/close the space in front of the beds.

Yup, you’re correct. Though, keep in mind that your redstone wall would need to be set up in a way to still prevent adult villagers from reaching the trap. I used trap doors on the top of the entrance to the trap because I found that slabs actually break the path finding and would not breed villagers

Nice video! I found your channel and was curious if you would be interested in joining an SMP that is all family friendly content creators? The world is currently on 1.20 and has been up for over 3 years. Long term infrastructure and mega bases. It's called Lucid SMP. I'm relatively new to the server myself and we would love to add some like minded people who are doing content like we are.
