Pythagoras' theorem is only true for right-angled triangles. As 𝒂² + 𝒃² = 𝒄², the triangle must be a right-angled triangle.

It's a right triangle, it's different because the angle of where you observe it. try seeing the smallest square as the bottom part and you'll see it's a right triangle

it says that the area of the squared formed using the hypotenuse (larger side)is equal to the sum of the area of the two other squares . Remebmer that area means space occupied.

Bro actually Pythagoras theorem is (base)^2+(height)^2=hyp^2 the yellow part is a square shape so the area formula will be a^2 so the other two square water perfectly fit in hyp square this what they are trying to say

@@AdithyaKishoreyour answer is true, but to simplify it a^2 + b^2 = c^2. Essentially saying that the two squares are a and b. And when you add a and b together, you get c.
