I'm 43, I remember this movie. Both of these men gave a brilliant performance.💯🏈

Rmemeber seeing Rudy when I was about to come into High School. You realize football is getting more serious, you realize you're working for college, a career, a worthy life -- hearing Fortune's story to Rudy about how he let his attitude and resentment take control of his opportunity while playing at Notre Dame left a big mark on me. You get opportunities in life, you have to seize them and maximize them...work hard and make the most out of what you earn and what life offers you. Life is really short, there's no time for quitting after you've worked to build something. Telling that story kept Rudy on that path to finish what he started, and Fortune was right in preaching to him to not quit, because he knew, from experience, that it would be a mistake.

Nebraska’s Tom Osborne, who won National Championships in 1994-1995-1997, at times ran the veer option out of variety of formation schemes… The 1995 team is considered one of the best college football teams of all time..

Oooh Rah, Redwood Jr. Giants. Pete Carroll was there 3 years after our team. We went 3 years undefeated and didn't chew gum to do it. Thanks Coach John Pagliaro for a great start into football.

This brought back some great memories from when I was in high school. We went from 2-8 to 6-5 and 11-1 after running this offense in ‘95 and ‘96 at Wortham. One of the most notable stats from that 11-1 season, is that we outscored our opponents 90 something to 16 in the first quarter.

Ken Sparks won over 300 games while the headcoach at Carson-Newman University and Mike Turner was the offensive coordinator at Carson-Newman University running the Veer for 30+ years. 5 national titles and 21 SAC championships. Can't miss that orange helmet with that Eagle head in all these clips! GO EAGLES!

Good high school formation to run. Anything after that and it can get ineffective. It pretty much morphed into the spread formations you see today.

This offense gets ineffective after your first couple quarterbacks get concussions. The end should drill him each time.
