Like a lot of us here in the states, I have the Monoprice version. Same exact amp, obviously different voltage. It'd be interesting to see if there's much of a difference between the two. I will tell you though, if you run it through a quality extension cab you'll be pleasantly surprised. I have a Harley Benton 2X12 with the V30's in it and paired with the combo it sounds fantastic. Unfortunately you don't get the sound of the combo at the same time, as the internal speaker is disabled when running it like this, but even with the 1 watt setting it sounds pretty huge. Nice practice amp for a beginner

In my experience, the GP 200 amp models are pretty much as good as the Helix but the effects aren't QUITE as good. I believe, in particular, the Helix reverbs and Univibe are better. Unfortunately my Helix has footswitch problems so now it needs repaired and updated. I've had the Valeton for 2 years now and used it in rehearsals, recording, and gigs. I have had GREAT results!! I bought a 2nd one for backup. One of the greatest things is the looper with generous recording time.. unlike just about EVERY mfx out there.

Had my monoprice tube 15 for going on 6 years paid $199 for it I see them on the internet for as much as $400 in some places this is a great little amp, The only drawback is the chrome plate you can't see the writing on it, I did put new tubes and a new reverb tank in it. It actually didn't help it that much . If you can find one of these for under $250 I'd grab one !

Get where you’re coming from on thesize and weight of the Helix, and tbh I don’t use most of the features on it. I still have mine, and love it, but I recently bought the GP200 to use in my music room. Wow this unit is fantastic, fully recommend it, probably end up using it live it’s that good.

I have owned the Monoprice version of this for 4 years. I have used it in smaller clubs with a full band including bass and drums. It was loud enough. In larger clubs we would mike it up and ad it to the PA mix. I would have it behind me so I could hear myself, that worked pretty well. Get it off the floor for better sound. It has been a great little amp for me.

This is the same amp as the Monoprice they just change the Name to Harley Benton🙂

you can't have a Greenback in the box for this price 70-80 is the first price range for Celestion Greenback the second and Neodyne are the most expensive with acoustic pression stregth

I was at the last show with Liam in it. just out of curiosity, who is replacing Liam there, do you know ?

It's shut through the winter, and with five restaurants and multiple public areas why would you really want to watch TV in such a beautiful place?, so they dont splash out on it. Have stayed here twice in last couple of months and cant find fault with it, my guess is if you like Karaoke and want entertainment at night then Abaton is not for you. Food was incredible i thought.
