Y'know, Ps5 players talk a lot of shit about game libraries, because a lot of the flagships on Xbox are available on PS5, but 2 things to consider, all those flagships are online or live service, and Xbox has access to almost as many games as you can play on PC, plus decent backwards compatibility. you factor that in, plus the cheap price of gamepass, and microsoft recognizing exclusives aren't as profitable, Who is really ahead of the game here? answer looks to be xbox. sorry PS5, this is coming from a pc gamer. bang for my buck, i'd rather pay microsoft than sony, especially after what they are doing to spiderman, helldivers, and fromsoft (the fact that fromsoft said they were taking a break from souls likes and didn't wanna make an edlen ring 2 so they could focus on armored core, and 2 months after being bought by sony announce a new game set in the elden ring universe with dark souls bosses? come on)

PS5 is generally considered the better option due to the exclusives. However, I've had the PS5 Slim and the build quality, especially of the controller was horrendous. It started squeaking and making noises when I pressed the triggers within a week and got progressively worse within the course of a few months. The console itself after about 2 months would also make a buzzing noise every time you launched a somewhat demanding game. I've later learned that this was due to coils or something like that, but I've never had this issue with the Xbox Series X which I've had before for about 2 years with 0 issues. I ended up selling it after about half a year of owning it. And now I have a gaming PC anyway so... yeah.
