So let me explain blindside once more. Unless she is stun locked by being knocked into the air or stunned by an ability you do NOT want to use blindside it is truly a waste of an action. You would be better using Doppleganger and dealing double damage, doppleganger a third and she deals 3x the damage and casts 3x the spells. Blindside is great for when you are stun locked and need a person to move and save your party. Yuffie is your parties ninja savior. Please utilize her abilities better 🫣

To your comment about the chakra materia earrings at the 27:30-ish mark, you don't need the chakra materia equipped as well as the earrings. Materia earrings are fully working materia that don't need to go in a weapon or armor slot, and are often max level when you get them.

the ancients knows when a life passes away, that moment Aerith prays she feels Zack life force going out, this timeline specific its the original ff7 story, on remake is a total diferent timeline, its something that will live with all the fans of the saga, zack dies in that old timeline passing the bustersword to cloud.

I was confused too my first time, but it becomes more and more obvious with each playthrough. Jecht became an aeon, then he was possessed like yours were. Sin is an aeon. We kill the aeons, then must kill the og summoner. Doesn't exactly explain to us and jecht being dreams of pulled into reality of the og zanarkand. Like if those statues were destroyed would the dreams stop then? Means you could have in theory killed the aeons, dream zanarkand, and jecht in any order. Without another aeon you yevans just a ghost

You really only need four machine lens to get four bluegleam boxes with a thunderjaw, stormbird, behemouth, & rockbreaker lens, ( if you are going to play through Frozen Wilds DLC), you can sell all other lens

Those tokens you asked about are under the special items inventory tab. Best to get those from Karst ASAP, sooner the better. If nothing else you can sell them after you open the treasure boxes. Under the harder difficulties the machines can see you better, that is why you hiding in tall grass doesn't work as well.

The water was redone also, it is more realistic and has better visual quality as you can clearly see the bottom of rivers.

The eyes are way better than before. The arms wave about more and most NPC's that you have any dialogue with are much more animated and lively. I loved it right away. I played tHE original game more than 30 times, both standard and NG+ because I loved this game so very much.

Okay... blindside is best used when an enemy hits YUFFIE and say it sends you stunned or knocked off balance. You can bring up menu and blindside will be the only action available. It breaks all holds on yuffie.

Magic efficiency is great choice to add to the fire build i mentioned. Ultimately though i just wanna see you having fun. That yuffie ability is the one i said that you can get TWO extra yuffie. Cast a spell in an arcane ward from aerith with that and you deal 6 six SIX FIREBALLS. Keep in mind you need the mp for it.

Just a suggestion. Mp absorb linked with fire, Hp absorb = Fire, Magnify fire and Ice. Accessory: anything that starts her out with 1 atb. Start of a big combat lay that abt ward down and let her build another. Cast haste on the Aerith eith cloud or 3rd party. This will help speed her atb build up. Second action with aerith should be to SWITCH TO HER, run to the abt ward and use arcane ward, these STACK now so having them in the same spot will help as now youll build atb AND double cast within the ward. (Wards arent materia they are learned from her weapons like focused thrust. Ability?) Been a minute since i tou hdd it. After getting plat i had to step away until its release of number 3.

Most annoying side mission complete - that chicken got what was coming to it :D Also the nice touch of the game over music when it fades to black while they get to eat the chicken.

I’m glad for you to experience this game on remastered and play ing on very hard. Playing on PC would be better but ps5 does a good job on performance mode. Personally I play on story mode because the game is harder than dark souls when playing on ultra hard

I wonder if the weapons are always waiting under the reactors to swallow anyone passing by 😂 but seriously, maybe it was not just a coincidence. I think the planet has been trying for a while to show us the war between black and white whispers, and it almost got yuffie in the corel reactor. I like the details too, sephiroth strugling to cut the weapon, the whispers leaking from the cut as if they were the weapon's blood, the green scar... maybe we see more and more white whispers throughout the game because planet is constantly bleeding? I also have a headcanon that the reactor explosions in corel and gongaga were not an accident, but probably the weapon's doing. which means, another weapon could have tried to destroy Midgar's reactors as well but failed🤔

Got that "Previously, on X-men" opening vibe. Been waiting for your reaction to this part! The leitmotif changes during that entire segment were top-notch. I enjoyed the Whisper aspect of that section as well, showing the two different types fighting for their own "right" timeline.

The first time I played this scene I really thought they were going to go off the rails. As a fan I was tense because Tifa dying would be a huge divirgence from the OG. But you are right some things are different...

Using ATB WARD will double any spell cast within it. Use this for big fights because youll need to start using battle tactics. Your winging it hard against Scarlet. Lol

Using the button between options and snapshot in battle and it will pull up enemy stats youve already assessed

This is by far my favorite part of the game. I felt so many emotions. Anger and shock when Cloud pushes Tifa. Then sadness and nostalgia when going through the memories of them, shock again when Sephiroth almost stabbed Tifa and back in the house we finally see Cloud opening up for the first time. And the almost kiss of course. As a big fan of the OG this change was so refreshing and I think it fits perfect for whats about to happen later in the game. It's like a foreshadowing and build up to the lifestream sequence in part 3.
