For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. Galatians 5:16 ESV For God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control. Ephesians 6:12 ESV

Hi. I'm a 31-year-old Christian in Northern Ireland, and I just stumbled upon this video by complete fluke (or providence). I've been suffering a lot of friendship pain in my life over the last 10 years or so, and particularly in the last 2 weeks. I've really only had one close friend in my adult life, and sadly that friendship has been strained by my own actions. Thank you for your prayer at the end - you were praying for me.

That is not what the dark night of the soul is. Catholic Saint, John of the Cross wrote a treatise/poem called ‘Dark Night’. In brief, it is about when it seems as if the Lord has abandoned you, but having faith, one knows that he has not, even if it seems that way. In order to pass through this spiritual desert, one must pass through it without falling into despair. Thinking ‘God might not be real’ is to despair and lose your faith, the opposite of what God wants by allowing us to feel alone. He wants that feeling to bring us closer to him. Outside the Catholic Church there is absolutely no salvation. Check out VaticanCatholic.

Probably about govts. They lied about the shots, about Israel not being a terrorist govt, about the Nord Stream pipeline and so many other things, next to stealing our money.

Those tend to be the ones to be hyper judgemental of anyone with a slight difference in thinking, dress or ideology. I look to those ones as a shining example of what not to be in life and will raise my children that way as well
