As a BJJ practitioner, my answer to your comment is, no it does not... but what it does teach you is how to grapple, and grappling is a very real and effective form of fighting as any other art, just as a pure striker has no ground game but is still a dangerous individual. So the real question is, if you think these guys can't fight, go ahead and pick a fight with one of them and find out the hard way. The men and women in this video are all very high level grapplers and I'd bet dollars to donuts they would rag doll you like a man fighting with a little child.

Nice vid, Acording to IBJJF rules the Keenan thing should be warning or penalty but never dq! What about the scored points by Buchecha in last second to win the match vs Buchecha? I recommend you to get a good micro, it will solve the background noise 'problem'. Something like Blue Snowball or Blue Yeti.

Felt to me that Lovato was pressuring as much as possible the whole time. Jackson was clearly just hanging for time.

Bryce Lee He was in the guard the whole time and didn't try anything that could have exposed him in any way, and Jackson did the same. It's not like Lovato tried to stand up and attack, or dove under to get the sweep or anything. He was changing grips, but I felt doing rather little to make progress - he was taking no chances, just kept defending the guard pass. I like Lovato, but here, IMHO, he wasn't trying to go to the submission, he as just playing for points.
