I think the thumping part is 7 "notes" after the 4 triplet runs. 0-x-x, 0-x-x, 0-x-x, 0-x-x, 0-x-x-x-x-x-x (P-P-I-M-A-P-P). From Martin's tutorial on youtube. Maybe that's what you're doing... Hard to tell Regardless, great tutorial and sound! Thanks a lot

Sounds great. Very faithful to the original. I've only seen 2 other youtubers manage to play an arrangement that covers both hands, keep it up? Such an accomplishment would definitely place you as one of the best guitarists in the world, and would make you the first to accomplish so on youtube on an electric guitar!

I know I can learn this solo as I've got 37 years experience under my belt, but watching you play the added guitar part at the end is just plain out showmanship. Well done my friend!

This is a beautiful piece of music and I like your playing style! I transcribed it to figure out how I can play like this, if you dont mind I have have a couple questions: 1. What is that first chord you arpeggiate? Am7 with a sharp 7? Is this because it borrows from A harmonic minor? 2. The second chord you arpeggiate looks like a Bbmaj7. Why does this sound so good, even though Bb is out of key? My best guess is that it's borrowed from D minor, which is adjacent of the circle of fifths? Thanks!

for the intro arpeggio sweep you're playing the 14th fret instead of 17th on the A string, it's supposed to lead into a unison of the 12th fret on the D string. if you watch live videos of him playing it you can see he hits that 3rd note of the arpeggio with his pinky on the 17th.

Great exercises thank you so much! Teacher i have a quest!I find my self finding more natural instead of down-up (with the pick) to do a up down as it would be if the first of the 3 ntoes where picked with a pick. Would u suggesto stick to down up or try my way ?
