Jacqueline, yes, there is plenty of tame/beginner level riding at Maryland Mountain. This ranges from Fire Road to fairly non-technical trails. The trails you see in this video were mostly the challenging ones. I would definitely look at TrailForks for research before you go. SIlvio: The cables you see are all Gore's "RideOn" sealed cables. Unfortunately, they have just taken that product off the market. Hopefully someone else will step in.

Well done review of a beautiful machine. I'm hoping to pick up an X-Fire with Rival after my cross season is done. Coming off my vintage 1983 lugged steel cross bike. I've had enough of the noodly front forks and swishy bottom bracket. I'm liking the black and orange colours. Hard to believe how stiff and light cross bikes are now.
