I just came across your channel. You are awesome. Your enthusiasm for your love of the game and what the cards have done for the fan is awesome. You bring the joy of collecting baseball cards to the next level. You are pulling guys I grew up watching and idolizing. I loved the game then and love it even more as I get older. We saw the Reds play in 78'. We were walking thru the parking garage and out of no where came Johnny Bench. He accidentally nock over my little brother and he gave him a signed baseball for him being in such a hurry and not paying attention. Just some great memories. Love your channel. Keep the greatness coming. My favorite team, Reds. Player is Johnny Bench. I even played catcher like him. Great memories are flooding my mind. Love this channel. Thank you.

That '79 All Time Stolen Bases Record Holder Lou Brock is awesome! He was one of my Dad's favorite players. I remember Dad telling me about how Lou Brock was a real "class act" on top of being one of the all time greats. He bought a not so great condition '74 Lou Brock card for me once when he took me to a card shop back in the early eighties. I will always cherish that card. Recently, I have been player collecting Lou Brock in honor of my Dad. I think that would make him happy.

I had Ozzie's RC as a kid/high school, but someone cut the border off. In that condition in the 90's cost $10 (too much). Because of strict grading, it's now worthless. I'm glad my soon to be 50 yr old self pitched it many years ago.

I’m on a 1971 OPC craze currently! They’re so hard to find in decent condition or signed yet there prices are very cheap for how tough they are. Truly undervalued!

Mine was the Ricky rookie! My dad got me into the hobby and he had 2 Ricky rookies and he lost all his collection in a house fire in 1988. He lost his Ricky rookies, Mattingly rookies, Gwynn rookies and many more. That was the second time in my life i seen his shed a tear the first was when his mom died. I lost him in 2001 and collecting is the 1 thing that keeps me close to him. I was the 60th like!

In 1984 I was 14 - 15 and was working my first job at a sports card shop. I was and still am more into non-sports. However I loved collecting Darryl Strawberry cards. The pulls in this video bring back a lot of memories.

Tim hello from New Mexico. Very happy for you and your energy and genuine love for the hobby comes thru the screen each time. The Nolan Ryan's are amazing and my favorite. I started collecting in 1980 so a little ahead of me. I bought a collection as well but much smaller. I get your emotion every time you find a new card, I can only imagine the feeling you get with a collection that size. God bless and keep providing content!

I know a lot of people will mention the Rickey’s, but to me… that’s where my love for cards started. 1980 Topps. My Dad would take me and my brothers to Shinder’s in Minneapolis and we’d get to pick out a few packs and maybe some singles. 1980. That’s where it all began. Lots of memories of ripping packs with my brothers. I was the one who waited until we got home. They ripped in the car! It’s a special year for my family. 1980. It’s when my passion for this hobby began. So grateful for that time.
