Hi Dave I would to offer an eye catcher. See what you think : Finished fourth at Market Rasen (28/9/24) 0-105, class 5 handicap hurdle off top weight. He was returning from a 64 day break over a trip probably shorter than ideal now (2m 2f 140yds) he was settled in midfield and he jumps well. He badly lost his position turning out the back straight and was outpaced but stayed on all the way up the run-in eventually beaten 6 3/4lengths. Mourzouk won a class 4 handicap hurdle in May 2022 over 2m6f off 115 on good ground before having over a year off the track. He was fourth today off 105 and could be dropped again. Now he’s in the class 5 bracket and hopefully stepped up in trip, next time he could go close in the right race if coming on for the run after his break at a decent odds.

Ill take a look Kris, MR is a very unique track, not as easy as some think, it also pays to be handy/up with the pace and there is a part of the track about 3-4 out that some horse/jockeys find tricky and they get caught out. Thanks for your contribution...DTS

It was in the video at the time on 365......since then 2 N/R's one I think was the favourite and other 6/1....so it's been cut to 7/1...... surely you could fathom that out by looking at the card, only 8 runners now, not 10......7/1 still an e/w price...DTS

Can't fault you, Barrow do score generally but I think this will be tight, the under 2.5 was silly price and only conceding 1 goal at home and only 1 goal away makes me fear the 0-0 more than anything but I am swayed by Gills home scoring record of 8....hopefully one of us ( I hope it's me...sorry) will be right....Cheers MM...DTS

The Lincoln meeting wasn't as good a quality this year due to the ground conditions, especially the Brocklesby but normally the Lincoln throws up some listed class animals later in the year, as a 5yo I don't expect that but I don't think this is all that deep a race at all, the 3yo's need to improve. Not sure Earls at 7yo can do it off it's higher mark than won off and never won at 1m, but has done 7f here and does like soft/heavy ground, not without a chance but I think more likely to place, cheers Borat...DTS

Looks a fair bet at that price Dave. For the notebook, I backed Yazaman the other day @28/1. 5f at Redcar. Got no run at all. Only beaten 3L . Jockey stood up twice. It has a higher rating on a/w and stays further. I hope you backed Ultramarine last night.9/1 what a price! Good luck today pal.

Cheers Duncan, I'll check Yazaman out for the AW and what is left of the turf season , I didn't play Ultra as it was 3/1 at the time of my selection been declared a N/R and I didn't look again, was a bit busy....at 9/1 I would have played, when I saw the result I couldn't believe the price......Today yeh I think it's got a good chance, the fav looks a bit short imo for what it has done, they're hoping for improvement from a 3yo dropping down in trip having ran ok on soft.....Heavy at Haydock is as heavy as it gets so I definitely prefer older horses with proven form and a battling mentality...be lucky...DTS

The selection was down for the Cambridge, might have played to small stakes and as many places as I could get but it's a N/R for that race and running at Haydock instead. The Pricewise horses start coming in late at night with money from the Racing Post Subscribers who get the information early at a price,,,then lay it as everybody jumps on the bandwagon later on, so it might t start going out later on, keep an eye out...DTS

What I tend to do if I like the price but it's going out a bit and there's a long time before the race is...bet half my usual stake at the price I think is good, then half at a later price, bigger or shorter...the market goes up and down, you can't always catch it at it's highest price so take the bird in the hand for half stake is my advice...cheers...DTS
